making a 6" lift an 8"

anyone change their 6" lift to an 8"??

 

I got a sweet deal on some 37's and need to go bigger.

 

Any ideas?

The back wouldn't be to hard...just get new block....as far as the front goes, I'm pretty sure fabtech has some differences in their 6 and 8 inch kits.

 

Can you just crank your torsion bars? I have no idea if that would work when you already have a lift.

I was wondering if the green keys would work with the lift too??

A body lift or buy a new liftkit. There's really no way to get 8"s out of 6" spindle kit.

I would agree. Just add a 3" body lift. Then you would have 9" total. Just don't tell them you are installing a 3" body lift on a lifted truck. Some places frown upon that (like 4wheelparts).
