1. nope, on the winshield change

2. 2004 z71 tahoe

There was a similar post about the a/c leaking. I would check grommets on the firewall, if one came loose or popped out, water might get through to the carpet. Other than that I have nothing. Anyone else have an idea?

If the ac drain was clogged water would back up and leak on to the carpet. There's a rubber hose that comes out of the firewall on the passenger side where the condensation from the evaporator drains through. Best way I know is to shoot some compressed air up the hose to blow out the clog...although I have heard of people snaking it out with rods and screwdrivers and stuff. You just have to be careful if you do it that way not to pierce the evaporator!

Bill, I thought about that, but he talked about the leak being on the drivers side.

If your truck's an 04, you should still be covered under warranty...let the dealer figure it out. Then be sure to let us know cause now I'm curious!

dont worry i will, my service guy already told me to bring it in, he takes pretty good care of me, as far as getting things checked out right.

found a TSB on that issue but for the trailblazer, not the tahoe, seems on that case it was coming in from the A pillar, and some had water come in from the fire wall weld.

but once i get a chance to bring it in and get it figured out ill let u guys know
