Nubi with electrical issues.

Nubi needs help.

I have a 03 denlali XL. I just installed a new drop down DVD player, I removed the dome light, I used two of the three wires there to connect the new dome lights that are built into the DVD player.

All other power wires for the DVD where fused and run directly to the large fuse panel at the engine compartment.

All works fine except, I lost the vanity mirror lights and the glove box light, is there a fuse that blew, I looked everywhere could not find it.

Or is this a BCM problem?

 

Under warranty but hate to spend the time and effort, if it is a quick fix.

I would guess that the third wire to the dome light that you didn't use has something do do with it.

I thought the same thing, so I removed the DVD and put back the OEM dome light with the three wires back in place., but no luck.

Found the problem!

 

It was a silly 15amp fuse on the side panel drivers door.

I looked there before but somehow I missed it.
