any mass air flow K and N problems

Im riding around with my K and N always wondering should i ditch it or what? Has anyone really had problemsout there with oil on MAF which led to problems. Is the K and N really worth it ? Is there really more power or is it in my head.

I've had zero problems with all the K&N's in all eight of the trucks I've owned over the last 16 years.

We have a lot of our customers here at the dealership that put in K&N's and I haven't seen any problems with any of theirs either,I even put them in all of our parts trucks.

I've got 130K on the K&N FIPKII in my current truck and I've never had any issues with it. IMO the problems are due to over-oiling. I also do oil analysis every oil change and it shows good filtration.

No issues here, been almost 30k that I've had it on. We had a customer with a Lexus IS 300 come in with a check engine light and a MAF code, but you could tell that he had just serviced his filter himself as it was literally dripping with oil.

I put over 150k on my last truck witn no issues, and I have over 130k on this one, no issues.
