I glanced at summit cause it's been 5-6 yrs since I did mine. Only spindles available are 2". Then you go to springs for more drop. I have found if you go past 1" springs it starts being marginal to align. Of course their are all kinds of air bag stuff out now.

Take a look in Truckin' magazine or something like that. They always have advertisements for lowered trucks. My suggestion would be look at spindles, control arms, and no more than 1" on springs. Check for info on Bell Tech, DJK (?), and some others.

Thanks for the idea's. I was planning on doing just the spindles, but have heard some things about using both, guess I never put the 2 together and figured out that the spindle is only good for 2". Thats all I really need anyway, just want to get it down so it dont look funny with the skinny's up front. Guess I will just use the block kit in the back, that is until I get the ladder/coil over's done

Check out summit's brand of spindles, think they're ground force or something. I ran a set for over 10 yrs on 3 different trucks, last one being a 89 s-10 w/ a 400hp LT4, never had a single problem with them, was able to align the truck and everything. I ran 3" blocks in the rear w/ no problems as far as pinion angle or wheel hop, all these were ext cab trucks.

If you want a quick ratio steering box, steal one off a camaro (reduced turning radius though), or a s-10 equipped w/ the ZQ8 suspension package, they came from the factory w/ lowering springs front and rear, beefed front sway bar and rear, and a quick ratio steering box, all this stuff is bolt on from 1982 - 200X. Good luck!
