Front wheel Brake Dust Shields, Any good ??

All a search revealed was the dreaded "The page cannot be displayed" ??

 

So, I already installed a set of these shields on the front wheels.

Basically, just a thin metal cover which blocks any brake dust from making it to the visible side of the wheels.

I was wandering if these shields reduce any cooling effect on the brakes/rotor?

And if so, is it enough to be concerned about?

Any input is appreciated.
