Out of curiousity though, are the mud flaps staying or going?

They're staying. I like the look of them as they are now, and they definitely help in keeping the sand/salt/mud/slush/etc. from spraying up onto the doors and rockers. Although with the nerf bars they're more of a backup now.

 

They are required by law for trucks in MN and 30 miles into ND, not necessarily the whole state, according to Fargo Police chief Chris Magnus. I assume that this also true for pickups. I go from Fargo to Lisbon and from Fargo to Moorhead on a monthly basis, so they're a good thing to have.
