Ok.. I restore old muscle cars for a living.. Its a hobby.. Im not a genius when it comes to the ins and outs of these new computer controlled vehicles..

But

My in-laws have a 05 suburban.. 1500/2WD.. needs front brakes.. No Sweat, right?

Driver Side, top caliper bolt? Pop... finger loose.. remove...

(When I say Pop, think the removing Lug nuts.. pop... you know what Im talking about)

Driver Side, Bottom Caliper Bolt? Pop... Pop... Pop.... Pop... Wont budge without Extreme muscle..

Ok, strange... move to passenger side... Top? Pop... finger off.. Bottom? Pop....finger off...

Look, I deal with bolts that have been in place for 40 years.. Im a PB Blaster freakin stock holder, ok? PB Blast that bottom driver side caliper bolt... nothing...

Ok, my blue flame wrench (torch)... Nothing.

Im completely mystified as to why this one silly caliper bolt wont budge!

You can move the caliper quite easily when you muscle 1 complete threads' revolution out of it.. Freely move the caliper..

Im an old school guy here, but Ill be damned if I can figure out why this stupid caliper bolt (T55) wont budge without me practically Standing on it..

Broke 2 Craftsman ratchets doing this... 3/8 and 1/2.. CRAFTSMAN!

Before I cut this bastard out and replace the whole deal here, anyone got any ideas?

Tell me some Mettalurgy BS or Something! :bs:

Thanks for your time.

(For you old school muscle car fans, my current 3 projects are 66 Stang, 67 Stang Street Cleaner, and a 68 Goat Pro Street)
