Sweet man, welcome back. I love seeing the big block HD's roll quick. You just cant beat the feeling of a 4hi launch in a modded 496!

OMG does that big block sound sweet. It has that muscle car cackle on idle.

But, my question is why were the firebird and camaro you started and ended with able to pull up on you toward the end of the shot? Did you let off there both times or was it your 4.10 gears didn't have enough left at the top end?

He has a quick truck for sure....but those F-bodies are very fast, even when they are stock. I assume he wasnt wasting his N02 on those little jumps against them, thus they would have probably been able to pull on him after the initial launch. Shows you what kind of launch these 496's have from a dig though...really puts you back in the seat for sure.

Thanks Linda, It's good to be back. I've been burnt out on the truck thing.

I have 3.73 gears with a 2800 stall. Cuts a 1.7 60ft on bfg a/t. If both of those f-body was stock I'd would kill them bad. Both are high 11 sec cars. The first one is a friend of mine. The first time we met, he just turn 16 and only had his car for 3 days and I put a asswhoppin on him he never forgot. That why he launched on the second honk the first race. The last one was recked about 15 min after that race. It's a shame it was a factory freak car. He just had the 4.10 installed that day and never made to the track. The first race he lifted, he thought he didn't get a good launch. The second race he realized it wasn't a traction problem and understood why everybody was pushing him to race me. He is a good guy, he help set up a couple unsuspecting Mustang guys to race me.

Now if I could only get the Camaro to out run the truck.
