Westers is a company that does custom computer tunes.

I bet you are talking about a custom tune from "Wester's" garage.

 

There are other companies that can write you a new tune (computer program) too, but Westers is regarded as one of the best custom tunes out there.

 

A new tune will increase HP, change shift points and firmness, remove the torque management, and pretty much anything else you request like a reprogram for larger tires etc...

 

Custom tunes run anywhere from $150 - $450 depending on the company you choose and the year of your truck. Most require that you send back your old computer after they send you the new one, or you will be charged a "core" charge.
