350 and 4300 engine parts compatibility?

I have heard that the 4.3L Vortec v6 in my 94 s10 Blazer is really like a six cylinder chevy 350 with the same stroke and bore, and I am wondering what parts are directly compatible?

 

Pistons, rings, connecting rods?

Valves?

Valve springs, seals, retainers?

Rockers?

Pushrods?

 

Is there a particular generation of 350 that I'd use parts from? I am intrigued by the possibilities since aftermarket 350 components are plentiful.

I'm interested in a similar question, but I'm planning a 350 swap into a work truck with a 4.3 in it right now. I'm curious to know if the computer for the 4.3 (TBI) will run the 350. I know they have the same size injectors and throttle body. I also need to know if the exhaust in the truck will bolt up to a set of manifolds for a 350 or if I'll need to do some exhaust work.
