2007 HD Classic -- Changes & dumped factory oil

Did MY 500 mile break-in fluid changes today.

Drain plug went from a 15mm to a 13mm

Oil filter went to a different thread -- Filter PH-48 / Purolator L12222.

NO drain plug on the transmission pan

*HUGE* muffler

Engine is much, much better than the 04 I had. I'm getting 10.5mpg vs the 8-9.0 that I got. Correct the MPG with the 7.736% size differece in the tires and I'm not doing bad at all.

The front diff fluid -- drained looked like milk. A TON of fuzzies stuck on the magnet as well. Replaced with Mobil 1 75w-90

The rear diff fluid -- drained and also looked like milk. Smelled like grapes but very, very milky. Also a ton of fuzzies on the magnet. Replaced with Mobil 1 75w-90. NO friction modifier added. G80 does not require it.

Transmission fluid is Dextron VI

The exhaust issue with the oil changes on the 04? Fixed. GM re-routed the exhaust pipe to just infront of the transmission cross-member. No more oil mess or burnt up hands.

This truck is much, much better than the 04 I had. Drives much better, NO wind noise (first GM truck I've ever had with no wind noise), no squeeks/rattles anywhere.

Overall I'm quite impressed with the truck.

The auto a/c is a b*tch to get comfortable---always wants to go out of recirc mode.
