Minimum Fuel Pressure

99 Tahoe, 5.7L R Vin#

 

Anybody know what the minimun fuel pressure is to keep the

engine running?

My fuel pressure gauge indicates 50 PSI with the engine at idle

and I am told that with that fuel pressure my truck wouldn't start.

50 might be a little low when running. Do a pressure test key on, engine off. The pressure should get to a minimum of 59 psi and hold after the pump shuts off
