Largest Tire On A Nbs 2500hd?

I'm looking to change out my stock crappy tires and wheels for some new ones, I'm looking at 285/65R18 BFG AT-KOs on American Racing Cannon Wheels, but I don't want any rubbing. Anyone know what I can fit? If they rub, there is no trimming the bumper on the NBS trucks, it's all chrome.

I'm running 305/45/22s on my HD (pictured to the left). I had to crank the torsion bars to get them to fit. Taking that a step further, I installed the Cognito Leveling Kit to maintain a good ride with the bars cranked. Didn't have to trim anything after doing that. I believe you should be able to run the 285s without a problem. It will depend on the offset of the wheels.

Di you have to install the Cognito kit? The tire size calculator puts our tires at the same size 305/45/22s and 285/65/18s are both a little over 32.5, I imagine mine should be a little narrower. Did it come close to rubbing? I already cranked my T-Bars, first thing I did when I got the truck home.

The 285's will fit with the torsion bars cranked up 1" above stock if used with the same offset as a stock 17" wheel. Will rub on the inner pastic wheelhouse when cranked sharp LT or RT. Will clear bumper and valance on 07 nbs GMC. Should fit bumper on nbs Chev.

The height is pretty close but the 305/45/22s are a little taller. They fit fine going straight but I wouldn't be able to take any turns with the stock ride height. I went with the Cognito kit to crank the bars as much as I could without losing the ride quality. The bumper should be fine but it can get tight on the wheel well plastic.
