Does This Affect The Truck In Anyway?

I always now punch it for like 5 seconds about 2 times a day, and I sometimes spin the wheels for like 4-5 seconds also.

Does this wreck the truck at all?

Why? "Snapping" the throttle has to be bad for just about any part of the drivetrain. If you want to rev it, do it more gradually and let off gradually, too.

I have no reason to punch my truck. It never did anything to me and I am not mad at it

OK, that struck a funny bone. It's really not that funny, but it really did make me LOL and I never "really" LOL on the internet. :chevy::chevy::)

Uh-oh. I find myself doing that a lot.

Ill be going about 20-30 and stab the throttle quickly to get it to "rev" like a manual transmission would.

I never figured this would hurt anything other than my gas bill. ?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not an expert at this, you're probably not going to screw everything up if you mash the pedal when you accelerate-- most times you can't help but force auto trannies to instantly drop drown 1 or 2 gears.

But to snap the throttle a couple times a day just to do it is pointless, IMO.

Spinning the tires is pretty much hard on everything. But the throttle "snapping"? I'm not sure what that means. If you mean doing it in neutral, that's BAD. Don't rev a motor with no load on it very much...If you mean by flooring it while driving around...Well...I do that a LOT more than 2 times a day when I'm in the SS.
