Need Help On 08 Upper Mirror Instal

Can someone please tell me how to remove the upper half of the outdise door mirrors to put on the Putco Chrome Mirror replacement it is NOT the peel and stick and Putco has no instructions on how to do this I have talked with their Tech. and that was no Help, I donot want to trash the mirror trying to do this with a litte help.

Very carefully, but firmly pull them off. They are simply clipped into place. You will likely end up pulling the entire rear panel off, and then removing the upper panel on your workbench. it takes some guts, but it'll come off.

So you DONOT need to remove the front mirror and remove any screws? This is what the Putco folks said to do but I really dont want to pop the mirror out and it not go back in. Whrn I trye d last knight the top and botton both started to come off so I stopprd because i thought the bottom was not to come off. Thanks for any help.

NO!!! Do NOT take the mirror off, there are NO screws holding it on. You were doing it right, pull the entire back off and then disassemble the top panel afterward.
