3/5 Drop On 08 3500 Dually 4x4?

My buddy wants to get a GMC 3500 4X4 and drop it 3/5. The only lowering kit I found was DJM, and they claim that their 00-06 kit will work on the new GMT900s. Is this true? If so, does anyone else make a lowering kit for these trucks? The truck will be getting american force wheels with low profile tires and a few other goodies, so it doesn't need a big drop, just a little one. It is also going to be daily driven if that makes a difference.

Not sure why you'd do that to a dually, but I won't judge.

If they say it will work, it should work. (The NBS HD's are still on the old platform.)

This is why:

The reason it needs to be 4WD is to get through snow. I personally think it'll be fine with RWD and snows, but he wants 4WD and the 4WD sits at the same ride height as the 2WD anyway.

I don't have a problem with lowering a 4x4, I just feel that a dually is kind of a waste if you're not going to tow with it, and that doesn't seem like the optimal towing setup.

Ain't my truck though, and it does look pretty badass, so make sure you post pictures.

Honestly, I think out of all dropped trucks, DRW truck have the most badassness. Just my opinion. But yes, when it is done, we need pics.

Pics will definitely be up when it is all done. Does anyone else make a lowering kit besides DJM?

Doing a quick search (and I do mean quick as it was less than five minutes) I haven't found any brand names beside DJM.

I did a little search and there is ground force, not sure how good that is. McGaughy's seems like a good company. Belltech might have something for you.

Checked them all ou, as one of my friends distributes Ground Force, and they have nothing to date.

That blue dually looks freakin sic bro, If I had the coin to drop on something like that I'd do it too!!! I think a new 08' GMC crewcab dually slammed down to the ground would look awesome. Doing it to a 4x4 though I would like to have an air bag setup so you could lift it up for winter driving.
