the situation is as follows. 06 serria 1/2ton

yesterday drove though large snow drifts to pull some one out. got myself stuck but was able to rock myself out with 4low and a good set of bfg's. Truck sits out side 24/7. yesterday as today high was about minus 5. Drove to work this morning pulled truck inside heated shop to let thaw out as it was jam packed with snow from the drifts. At noon used hose to spray out packed snow from under engine and around skid plate. truck sat in shop for 3 more hours, then drove 70 mph down hwy to meeting and parked it. 1 hour later went to leave and start it up check engine light on. shut off. looked for fluid leaks and found none. Also checked all fluids at noon when truck was in warm shop. and checked gas cap (fine). All gaugages normal not knocking or missing has normal power etc... Drove 1 hr home filled gas tank and parked it for the night (outside). Cant get it to get it scaned til wed morning. I am guessing just a sensor of some sort but really have no idea. ANY GUESSES.

Thanks

Dan

You can disconnect the battery for a hour and see if that will reset itself.

Stop in to Auto Zone or one of those places. They will check the codes for free. Find out what the code is before you do anything.
