2003 Tahoe Rear Hvac No Air Hot Or Cold

I have a 2003 Tahoe LT that I bought used last year in June. Ever since I bought it (from a dealer), the rear air has been non-functional. The front air heat and A/C work perfectly. The dealer said they would fix the air problem since it was apparently not an issue with the A/C (which they didn't want to pay for since it usually isn't cheap to fix). After a few trips to them to have them try to figure everything out, they ended up replacing the blower and the resistor in the back which did not fix anything. I have not been waiting for about 6 months for them to "get a part" to replace, HVAC control module? Not sure. I keep calling and going back and they keep saying they are waiting for it.

I am sick of waiting for them. I have taken it all apart before and tried to troubleshoot it myself, but I decided to let them take a stab at it. One thing I did notice is that when I try to use the HVAC control that is in the rear of my center console (for the people in the back seat to control the rear HVAC), when I try to push a button to turn it on, the display comes on and just says "OFF" for a couple seconds then turns back off.

Since I have bought the truck, I did put in an aftermarket stero (headunit) which has a harness and a module to keep the Bose/OnStar and door chimes working through the new system and the speakers. Since the rear HVAC control display also has radio controls on it, could this change I made interfere with anything? The air was not working even before replacing the headunit, so I don't think so but I figured I would ask.

Any help is appreciated!

im sure it has nothing to do with ur new system, my cousin has a 02 tahoe and encountered a similar problem, however when he took it to the dealer they said that he only had a couple pipes loose and the air was flowing originaly. when u turn it on do u hear the air blowing but no result? if so then prolly sumthing is loose and they need to hook it back again

hope u find a solution soon

Anyone else have any ideas? No idea what would cause the hvac control panel in the back of the center console to just say "OFF" when trying to hit the power button.
