Installed a Magnolia rear sliding window gloss bezel kit on my 21 Sierra yesterday, I really like the look. Only $35 plus shipping, have to see how they hold up.

When I had the front and rear diffs serviced I used Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-80 synthetic gear lube. my 21 Sierra has SU4 front, SU7 rear.

I read a few months ago that GM had a limited recall on some Diesel 10 speeds (10L1000?), how are the Gas 10 speed (10L80-90) Valve Bodies faring?

Theres also an outfit called NextGen drivetrain that is selling an upgraded valve body for the 10 speeds, theirs are $3495 plus $1000 core charge. Be interesting how they compare.

Received my recall letter yesterday. They will send me another letter asking to take my vehicle in for service.

When I run the vin on GMs website my truck shows recall under program #252494000, Status- Incomplete, Remedy not available. Build date is 3/27/21. When will the Status become complete? It sounds like some have already had engine replacements with the recall,

Is the recall for Engine build date or Truck build date? My build date was 6 days after yours on 3/27.

Had the same thing on my 21 Sierra 6.2. Dealer replaced it under warranty.

I installed one on my 21 Sierra almost since new. Easy install and have not had any problems with it.

For the last few weeks when I try to use Google maps from my iPhone it shows my location just above the equator off the coast of Africa in the Atlantic ocean! When I open the app in the iphone it works normally. I've tried going through all the settings in the phone and infotainment with no luck. Anyone have any ideas? In the past it worked fine.

This is the UOA test kit that Napa sells for $15, first one I've had done. I plan to run this oil to 3500 miles and test again more to see how the oil is holding up then anything else, I don't trust the oil life monitor for these GDI engines. Customboss did I read somewhere on the Forum that you do UOA? If so I can send it to you when I change the oil again this Spring. I was a little disappointed the Napa (ALS)results only had Base and Viscosity results in regard to the oil. I was hoping they would show Fuel dilution like you mentioned above.

My guess is its a voltage/amperage feed problem because its only blue intermittently when in DLR mode and goes away completely when the headlights are on, and only on the drivers side, at least on my truck.

This is my first UAO on my 21 Sierra 6.2. Bought a couple of the Napa kits, analysis was done by ALS labs. Total miles on the truck 5890 with oil/filter changes at 700, 2800 and 3044 using Mobil 1 AFE 0w-20 and Purolator Pure 1 filter.
