The company that sent me the wrong chair was nice to talk to and I have time to make a decision. They put a rush on sending out the correct size of chair. They asked me to pack up the wrong one and they will arrange for pickup. They also said if I want to keep the the first chair instead of packing it up, they will sell it to me at their cost. I wouldn't mind having the two chairs as they are good looking and the smaller one would be a perfect fit for Mrs. Donstar. My wife is fine with two recliners in our living room but her comfort is found on the sofa. A recliner isn't a piece of furniture she'd choose for herself. She appreciates the good deal but she'd rather keep the money in the bank! I am dreading packing up the recliner. It was a very efficient pack from the factory and there is a very slim chance that I will be able to replicate the level of Tetris skill required. Ironically, the only way I get compensated for their mistake is if I buy their mistake. They don't lose anything and I spend hours on disassembly, packing, unpacking and assembly! Customer service expressed their appreciation of my understanding in regards to their error but I think I need to see if they can't sweeten the deal!

It's called practicing medicine, enough said. I chose my oil and OCI's from experience. I'm glad you're scientific research works for you, my experience works for me, no need to keep proving it works. Better things to do.

That's another clever idea. And, the milk crates are the best for transporting a propane tank!

@davidm767 I have updates for the intake and exhaust as well. The Ram-Air intake is in its beta-test phase with about a dozen Test Pilots. See below. Currently, we are ensuring that the new mass airflow intercept module and tubing we have developed function correctly. Please expect it around the same time as the Derringer. The Monster Exhaust has been pushed back by about six months. We have all of the tubing sorted; what is needed is a piece of electronics to help intercept the computer so the truck does not freak out. The truck is sensitive to any changes in change with exhaust even after the DPF.The development time for materials and programming is going to take us a moment. We have tried tirelessly for the last few months to try and make the exhaust work by itself. Unfortunately, it will not work without electronic intervention.

Clever idea, very clean looking. I use a 2x6 across like you did, and make simple adjustable divider that holds items to one side, and can be placed anywhere depending on what I cam carrying. To be clear, I saw this idea somewhere, not mine originally, just sharing it here so people see there are many creative ways to tackle bed storage.

If only our township roads were actually paved LOL, they grade them and finally put some much needed gravel on the one past our farm but its a courser gravel they laid down and it seems worse yet for sticking between treads and even on mud tires and flinging rocks like crazy. I am quite surprised with the shallow tread of these goodyear factory tires that they are picking up rocks as bad as they do, granted they can't pick up very large rocks but they sure pick up smaller ones and also retain some of them even after highway speed, I was not expecting that. But I hear you on road chipping, depending on how they went about it the job can be crap and even after its brushed off the chips if not bonded properly are flying and we had that mess happen on a secondary highway in the area within the last few years and that was causing a lot of windshield damage. I don't have any plans on putting wider tires nor rims with a different offset than the factory very positive offset wheels. Going with wider tires and a different offset, the particular part number of flap I bought would not be right. These were made specifically for a stock truck so they center with the tire. If one was changing the wheels/tires then a wider and non pre drilled flap would have to be used to center the flap to the tires. These are 12" wide which is the standard ( narrowest ) width that is made for flaps on these trucks, I think the weathertech said theirs are 12" also.

I hear you on the pricing of some of the GM accesory flaps too. Around here even the township roads are getting chip sealed/surface treated, so I don't put the miles on them as much anymore. Plus I run a stock size tire nowadays. If I ran an oversize tires like back in my younger days, something like that would be needed.

Weather checking between the ribs but very serviceable yet. Very comfortable tire that did all I ever asked of it. No longer in production. Installed Solaras (Cooper) Starfire P255 70R17. 50K warranty. All new TPMS sensors. Road Force Cross Balance. Road force values 1,1,10,15. Little weight required. Under 3 oz all four wheels. Set 35 psi. In its last year of production. Load check on OEM battery now 10 years old. Rated 730 CCA, Measured 595 CCA. 12.39 volts. State of Health 81% State of charge 73%. I was told to take her for a nice long drive and keep going. Lots of life left.

I just installed a set of the fog lights as well as license plate light since I wanted full LED and what a difference. The factory fog lights are worthless like you have all stated. Super easy install and adds to the appliance too!

I purchased the Autel TPMS Programming Tool TS508WF 2024 Version after reading advice on this forum. I used it to reprogram my 2024 2500HD tire pressure threshold down to 50 psi because that is what I run my tires at, and the low tire pressure warnings were a pain every time I started the truck. It worked great, and I have also been able to use it to relearn the tire locations after a rotation. A little pricey, but the cheapest way to reprogram short of having a friend do it.

185,250 Mile Service 3/29/2025 Wakey wakey. Gave her a spring bath and filled the tank with E-85 (77% test) then off for a wake up run. Get the oil circulating and hot. Battery likes warm weather so I'm putting off a new one for a bit. Tires first. Which I bought a few months ago. Soon. Last November, the 6th to be exact, was the last fill. Oil and filters were changed just before putting her to bed. Lowden State park was todays destination. Zero rust on this old girl now 10 years old a bit earlier this month.

I wouldn’t get intimidated by someone else’s write up, it’s really not bad. I’m fat and old and it was no problem routing the power wire threw the firewall. I used the Online Installation Guide from Kicker, and the associated video Here: https://www.kicker.com/19417164 Remove the bracket, use a solid 10ga or similar wire as a fish tape, (I didn’t cut off the nipple, just pierced a hole with a awl) poke it threw with a slight upward curve, reach behind the battery and pull it threw. Tape on the harness (I used talcum power to lube it up so it would slide threw easily) and carefully pull it into the cabin. If you are in the area, I’ll help you out.

Not the same issue exactly, but kind of related, so I will share my cruise control story here too. I put a 7" lift and 35" tires on my '17 Yukon XL, and my adaptive cruise control would only report that is was temporarily not available. I thought it was a sensor alignment issue, but I tried adjusting it and still could not get it to work. Another person had the same issue, and when they took out the custom wheel size programming, it started working again. I undid the custom programming, and mine is working again too, but of course my speedometer is not as accurate as it was. I need to use my GPS again to see how far off it is and decide if can live with it until I can see if there is another solution, perhaps an external speedometer correction that does not require reprogramming the BCM.
