  1. Got this one in email today... EJL1510WS...20% ends 7/12/15
  2. May be the case. My recall for the rear window motor assembly was performed in January 2014, but I know they stopped shipping for a while after that. Oh well.
  3. There was also a period in 2014 where they stopped shipping the power rear windows until they had enough parts to fix all of those that were already shipped (TSB issued) and then the new units had the TSB version in them. Orders came in without the power rear windows for a while.
  4. I sent a PM to GM Customer Service with my email and VIN and they sent me a build sheet for my truck. It included the RPO codes that matter. There is also a web site where you can look up individual codes... http://www.rpocodes.com
  5. In case anyone is interested, I got a great deal on a Volant CAI with a price match at AutoAnything. I noticed through a part number search for the Volant PowerCore (Dry Filter) Cold Air Intake 2014-2015 Chevy Silverado GMC Sierra (1500 Only 5.3 V8), part #155536, that NewLevelMotorsports.com has it listed for $289.87 with free shipping. AA has it on sale for 10% off at $369.89. I chatted with them and asked them if their price match policy included this item and gave them the web site information. After a few minutes, AA came back with $288.87, fee shipping and no taxes. Since I have the Corsa Sport exhaust, I think this will complement it well...happy 4th of July!
  6. Makes sense... Regarding a Corsa Touring muffler for our GM trucks... Some members posted on the forum that the Corsa Sport is too loud for them, especially those with 6.2L. I called Corsa about another question, and asked if they were planning to offer a Touring muffler for our trucks as well as the Sport. They told me, no Touring muffler is planned, but the noise level of the Sport can be cut down to approximate the level of a Touring muffler by adding a "pack" muffler on the head pipe side before the muffler (14" long X 3" pipe diameter glass pack muffler at Summit Racing).
  7. Interesting...that muffler looks smaller than the one that came with my Corsa Sport system...
  8. I guess when you get to be my age, medical needs and comfort come at a price that I am wiling to pay (I didn't mention back issues for Wife and Mom). Good luck.
  9. Not surprised at AMP's response. Yes, IMO, they are worth it. My wife and 87 yr old Mom are both short. With normal steps, they still had to step up enough that they were awkward for them. The AMP steps extend farther down so that it is a more natural stepping motion. Same when exiting. Of course, I like the way they retract out of the way completely as well. I actually think these are the best steps I've ever had (and I've had a few sets between 4 trucks and 3 SUVs including a 2500 Surburban 4X4).
  10. Don't know the exact answer to your question (and don't remember anyone doing this). However, the instructions say to trim 7" off for a Double Cab truck. This would balance the steps properly between the front and rear door openings and the two hinges. Leaving the extra step length on will not be close enough to the bed to help access the bed. But since the step mounts to the hinges on a track, you could play with it. I would be careful about having too much step on one end to where it would not glide open or close smoothly with too much weight on one end making it out of balance. Just some thoughts to consider.
  11. So what I did was: I aligned the Assist Handle Assembly with the pilar similar to the original trim. Then inserted the bottom edge "integral locator pin (x)" into the dash. Once this was positioned, the "integral clip (y)" would align to a slot in the pilar. Then I pressed the top of the Assist Handle Assembly toward the pilar. At this point, the bolt holes lined up, so I installed the bolts and bolt covers...done. I hope this helps.
  12. Did the stock trim piece have that "guide"? As I recall, it fit into a slot or something as a guide on mine. I did not cut anything on mine - it only took me 10 minutes to do this mod.
  13. As I said, you don't "need" an elbow, but the tubing collapsed...this fixed it...simple, cheap...there were a few others who noticed it too and replaced their tubing with braided reinforced tube. Again, you don't "need" it, but I like it.
  14. Had trouble with them collapsing when I put them through the holes I drilled in the knock out plugs (wanted it more closed to keep out dust). Someone else did this and I thought it made sense, especially running the tubes out behind a Bedrug. Works great, it's cheap and it was something to fiddle with. Did I have to do this? No, but it doesn't collapse any more. Highly optional...
  15. Wow, I really don't remember. I took the tube with me to Home Depot to figure it out.
  16. Here's a picture of the drain tube exit in between the bed and cab. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yes, I do have metal tie downs in the lower part of each corner of the bed. Remember, we also have 9 optional tie down points in the upper part of the box where you can attach removable tie downs. These are normally covered with plastic inserts. When using the Bedrug, you cut a slot through the material where you have these lower and upper tie downs. For instance, in my upper tie downs points, I have 4 GM movable tie downs and two Bull Ring tie downs on the sides. In the front, I use the left and right top tie down points for my drains by drilling a hole in the plastic cover, and inserting a 90 degree elbow through it. I attach the supplied drain tube to the BakFlip rail corner, feed it behind the Bedrug to the elbow and then out between the cab and bed.
  18. Yes and yes, pretty much.

  20. Are you talking about the steps on the Ford Platinum trucks? Those are the Amp PowerSteps we are discussing.
  21. I would say these would be for lifted trucks. The standard PowerSteps are just the right height for stock ride height. My wife and mother are both "vertically challenged" and the regular PowerSteps are just right - my truck is stock ride height.
  22. Despit what you might read, I have a Bakflip VP installed with my Bedrug liner and it works fine with no leaks. The only special thing I would point out is there are two drain tubes (one in each front corner) that need to drain. I ended up running them behind the Bedrug to where two front tie down ports are. I drilled holes in the plastic insert of the ports and used two 90 degree elbows to run the drain tubes out between the bed and back of the cab. My front rail has no cap, so I used the supplied gasket and it fit great. Good luck.
  23. My 2014 LTZ also has the Z60 suspension. I agree it was stiff and seemed to bounce a lot before I put the Bilstein 5100s on. Now it is much more controlled and smooth without the harsh bouncing. My wife says she no longer feels like a bobble head.
  24. Used it today to haul 16 bags of stones to fix some drainage issues from our recent Texas storms...
  25. Looked at this a little closer today...station name and song titles on FM when RDS is turned on in Radio menu; XM and HD showed the info regardless of whether RDS is turned on or not. And yes, not all FM stations show the info even when RDS is on. This is on a 2014 Silverado Bose Radio.
