Yes, this has happen to me as well. I have a 2020 LTZ, radio is on, but no sound. Usually if I turn the truck off and restart it works again. I have a few issues with my radio doing crazy things, stuff my 2014 never did. The strangest one is when I get a call, its shows the wrong contact info. My phone shows the right person calling, but my truck shows a completely different name, if it decides to show a nameat all, most of the time its just the number of the person calling even though I have that contact in my phone.

I have this issue as well, the phone number shows up but not the name of the contact. However I have not tried to repair my phone with the truck to see if that fixes it. I guess the important thing is that I recognize my wife's number so I know not to ignore it! ?

I have this same cover, and I just went out and looked as it is currently raining out, and my bed is dry, whoever there is some water drops in a few spots, but overall on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 9 for dryness. Very pleased with the cover.

I have had this same issue...my kids close the door and I would hit the lock button twice and no horn. So i walked around the truck open and closed all doors, hit the lock button twice more and it would beep at me. Next time when it doesn't beep at you, try going around and opening and closing all the doors again. In my crew cab, it is usually the back door on the drivers side, for some reason that door does not close very good.

2014 Chevy Crew Cab 5.3 6 speed 3.42 20" wheels Vibration over 74mph...Balanced Tires 4 times, road forced tires once, still vibrated. Took tires and wheels off of brand new truck off the dealer lot, still vibrated, put my tires on the new truck, didn't vibrate according to the dealer. New drive shaft, still vibrated. Now have 43,000 miles on it and have given up. About to buy new tires because the stock goodyears are about wore out hoping new tires will help a bit. I only have to deal with it for another 18 months then I get a new vehicle.

Yes, if I have a bottle of pop in the cup holder and it is a bad day for the truck, I cannot open it or it will explode if it is some what full. Now it is not always like that, but most of the time if I have a drink in the cup holder it will shake the drink. Also when it is vibrating bad, I have a rattle in the back seat somewhere, not sure what it is. I have nothing in the door storage area, and as soon as I hear it rattle I know that my center console will start within a second or two. So I know the vibration is moving from the back of the truck towards the front.

I know I can't speak for other people, but my shake is not in the steering wheel, its in the center console and seats. When my center console/seats shake/vibrate my steering wheel is very smooth. And the new drive shaft did nothing. So now I am going to start looking for a replacement vehicle. It just not only baffles me, but also the service manager and the sales manager at the dealership. They have ruled the tires out and the drive shaft out. Only thing left is the rear end, but I don't know if I have the time and at this point even care to keep chasing the vibration. Love the truck, but the vibration just kills the joy of driving it.

Wrench - The dealer has not taken vibration reading because they don't have the tool yet. The dealer I bought my truck from is a small dealer and they don't sell tires. My buddy thought that they would get the tool sometime in July or August. Today they are putting a new driveshaft in. Again, I am not sure if they is the issue, but we will see. Just the way the truck acts, I would think if it was the drive shaft it would be consistent. I am starting to believe it has something to do with the body mounts and the overall stiffness of the truck, It seems with I hit a bump it starts the vibration and keeps going and going long after the bump. Most people look forward to driving down a smooth interstate, but not me! I would it much rather it be bumpy at least that way the seats and center console don't shake so bad. Once the driveshaft is in and I get it back, I will let you know how it goes.

This is exactly my issues. Mine starts at 74...and then at 77 or 78 it is really noticeable. But the thing that baffles myself and my buddy who is the sales manager is that its not constant, I could go over the same road at the same speed and it would be different almost all the time. They took my wheels/tires off of my truck, put them on a brand new truck...no vibration/shake. Put the wheels/tires from the new truck on my truck...vibration/shake. Put the wheels from the new truck back on the new truck...no vibration/shake. My truck now has 30,000 miles on it, when it was new, it didn't have the vibration, it started when the truck had about 14,000 miles on it. At that time they said it was the tires and I was out of warranty of the tires so there was nothing that could be done. But I have kept pressing the issue and they started looking at it more closely. At 60 mph, its very smooth and drives great, but anything over 70 and it just sucks riding in it. Between this and the mylink issues, the crappy shifting transmission, I have not been real overall impressed with this truck. While the truck is being worked on, they have me a 2012 Silverado LTZ crew cab, with 15,000 miles. That things shifts so much better then mine its quite sad. The throttle response is so much better then mine, I think the software in these new trucks are design with maximum mpg and it compromises the driveabilty of the trucks. Ride wise, its no where close to as nice as mine, besides the shaking.

I am going on my fourth attempt to get my vibration to stop. My tires have be balanced twice and they have been road forced balance once. After my road force balance my vibration was worse. They are now going to change out wheels/tires with a truck on the lot to see what that does. The service dept and sales manager don't think that it is a wheel/tire issue but want to rule it out. After that they are going to hook up the vibrating tool that reads the vibrations. Going down the interstate at 77-78 the seats and center console shake terrible, but it is never constant. It can shake the water out of my full cup for a few miles then it will settle down, then it will get worse again, all on the same stretch of road. I can go over the same road, and the truck will vibrate different every time. My dealership has been very good to work with, I am just tired of dealing with this issue. If this attempt it does not get fixed, the truck is going bye bye.

So you can add my truck to the list of the ones that vibrate/shake. My does it at 70 mph and at 78 my center console is shaking so bad it shakes by pop and I can't open it without exploding. I have had my truck in once and they balanced the tires, the dealer I bought mine does not have anything to do with tires, so it went to a dedicated tire shop with a good reputation, so I feel somewhat comfortable that it was done right. But needless to say that it didn't help. I first noticed it about 6-8 months ago, but I thought that after a few tire rotations that I might be able to figure out what tire or tires where bad. Well after 4 oil changes and 4 tire rotations, it has been the same. My truck now has almost 30,000 miles on it now, so we will see how this goes. The service manager did say that this wouldn't be the first truck that have dealt with that vibrates and the tires was not the issue. It goes back in Monday for round 2. My question is with guys that tires have fixed the issue, did you notice that if the tires were rotated the vibration was different? In the past if I had a bad tire in the front you would feel it in the steering wheel more, didn't know if anyone has noticed it.

So I was reading though the GM Techlink monthly newsletter I would call it, and I found this under the three new Silverado/Sierra engines and though it was interesting especially what the last sentence: Active Fuel Management Cylinder deactivation, also known as Active Fuel Management, is now standard on all three engines.The system uses oil pressure, controlled by the Powertrain Control Module, to deactivate the lifters on selected cylinders, closing the valves for those cylinders.It deactivates four of the cylinders on the V8 engines and two cylinders on the V6 under light load condi­tions — operating the engines as a V4 — and seamlessly reactivates the cylinders when the driver demands greater power.The transition takes less than 20 millisec­onds and is imperceptible Mine is defiantly not imperceptible, but talking with the dealer he said that I will more than likely have to wait for GM to acknowledge this issue and come up with a fix. But I have not officially taken the truck in yet, so maybe once they drive it, maybe they can reflash it or something to help with the transition.

So are there any others that have gotten this fixed? Mine is doing this, and wanted to see if anyone had an update before taking to dealer.

My seat is popping also, so when I get my oil changed I will tell them, At first I thought it was something with my cruise because when I don't use it, it is not as pronounced, but the good thing I guess I can reproduce over and over so the dealer doesn't think I am bat $hit crazy.

With a few more miles on peoples truck, I wanted to see if anyone else can feel the transition for V8 to V4 or the other way around. I assume that this is what I am feeling, if I have my cruise set for 60, I can feel the truck and watch the tac and know when the transition is taking place. No matter if it goes from 4 to 8 or 8 to 4, my RPM's increase slightly, I mean slightly, makes the needle jump and there is a slight "jerk" I would call it. Do others have a slight increase in there RPM's, again it does not jump 500, I would say maybe 100 RPM's but enough to notice the needle jump. I know its not a transmission shift, because it can be on a flat road, and I can watch the indicator light switch. Didn't know if anyone else's truck acted this way?

I test drove a 2014 Silverado, took it home overnight, went out the next morning, it would not start, it just clicked would not turn over. Temp was 0F, went out five minutes later, turned the key, turned over a few times then started. My buddy is the sales manager at this dealer and he told me if they keep the trucks in transport mode, they all start no matter what the temp, but if they take them out of transport mode, half of his Silverado's will not start. From my understanding, transport mode turns off all unnecessary electronics on the truck. He also said that his dealer rep from Chevy says most of his dealers are complaining about the same thing. I am getting my new one next week, I hope it warms up and Chevy can come up with a fix for this.
