  1. Installed the GM Bug shield. Happy with the way it looks and mounts. Tomorrow it goes in for the Zone Leveling Kit and Shock extender kit install at my dealership.
  2. Wish GM would let us make a decision on this like Lexus
  3. Nothing crazy, but I did install the AVS window vent shades. Stopped in at Autozone for a receiver/hitch lock and sale they were on sale for $44 bucks. Figured, why not, they have them in stock so I bought them. These are not the in channel ones, but the ones that go on top.
  4. I don't think either of you are Sponsors on here, so it's an Open Market. He can be pissed all he wants, but all he has right now is a monopoly on these.. Just my 2 cents as I don't know either of you
  5. I have the tri-fold as well and am completely happy with it.
  6. Yea, they fumbled this cover, but it's better than not having one at all. I have seen the older ones and it looked great. Not so much here..
  7. Temps are dropping to around 0 degrees outside and a few inches of snow, so I threw on the front Chevy Grill Cover. And here's a picture of the VLEDS HID'S (35 watt) along with the LED fog lights. The Fog and high beam lights are getting replaced this week with the new VLEDS LED ' S since they are scheduled to arrive Tomorrow. The current DDM led will be available to anyone that is looks for the look without the output or cost.
  8. I tried to install my HID kit using a Relay and DRL module and faiked. Couldn't get them to come on properly. I know both bulbs work. Any suggestions ?
  9. You will not need the error eliminators for the High beams.
  10. Now thats pretty damn funny !! Glad you got it working properly
  11. It sounds like you need a Harness to give you the correct amount of power. When I spoke with VLEDS, they explained that on our trucks that use our headlights as a DRL, the DRL function only sends about 6 volts of power, for a less bright light. However, HID's need power power than that to properly turn on and stay on. You will need a harness that allows your lights to come on as they were designed (drl function) and still work correctly as your headlights.
  12. Corwest, I posted there too, but I know for the most part, the measurements "should" be the same.
  13. I didn't see if anyone has measured how long of a light bar will fit behind the grill of a 2015 Silverado 2500? I'd like to do a 40" bar, but Im not sure if it would fit, and I don't want to rip my grill off in the lovely Chicago weather we are having right now.
  14. I wondered if I could unclip it, but at the end just used small needle nose pliers.
  15. Thanks to Crooks, I know have this mod complete as of 5 minutes ago !!
  16. What cap brand and model is it. Still thinking I might go to a cap after the winter.
  17. Installed the Chevy grill cover to help warm up the truck faster in the lovely winter weather conditions of Chicago.
  18. Not sure what else it needs... Sent from the future using a Fax
  19. Thank you. Very happy how it's turned out. A few more mods and the list is "complete".. For now [emoji87] Sent from the future using a Fax
  20. The High Country comes like that standard along with the spray in bed liner. Sent from the future using a Fax
  21. Front windows tinted and Paint/Interior/undercoating applied today.
  22. Makes sense now that you said that. Going to have to give the diode another shot. Worse case I'm thinking I put the diode in between a wire since the flimsy diode ends are my biggest issue.
  23. If a simple wire was used for this mod instead of the said diode, would this cause an issue?
  24. Thank you. I Can't wait to take some better pictures of it. Sent from the future using a Fax
