  3. Its the same thing as the trinity, you can log more and do 0-60 etc with the trinity. You back up your stock tune before installing a custom tune so you can return it to stock if you ever need to take it in for warranty work.
  4. Stock tires and your tires OP are two totally different things. The door sticker will say 32psi, but you have load range E, you will want to be up around 40 at least.
  5. Hell ya man let it rip now! I have a diablosport trinity and it improved my truck greatly! You may just be noticing it hanging onto gears longer before shifting now because you can actually hear it lol. Probably not a bad idea to pull your negative cable off your battery for a couple minutes and then drive it hard after to get the computer to relearn your driving. If you drive hard during the learning period it tends to have better throttle response and shifts better.
  6. Drone is worse when using a v8 muffler on a smaller displacement engine. They dont push as much air through and it gets caught up in the muffler causing the low tones.
  7. It will probably be worse because you have v6, if you're worried about drone a super 44 was probably not the best choice.
  8. I too have gotten used to the v4 drone, part of the reason I haven't relocated my flapper yet. I put a drop in dry filter and created a home made MIT as well and with that extra air flow my truck has a nice grumble under load.

  11. If you don't plan on moving it to before then leave it held open (don't weld it, just use a clamp or bolt), but yes remove the resonator if you want it louder. Mine sounded god awful with the valve after the mufler. I drove it home from the shop and instantly clamped it open and its been like that since.
  12. Also I have a feeling with a 44 and no resonator youre going to get drone in v8, and it will be even worse in v4. Any loud exhaust will have some drone, some worse than others.
  13. Removing the resonator will make a huge difference in sound. It should make it a lot louder. I recommend relocating your flapper to be before the muffler instead of behind. Having mine behind makes my exhaust sound like its full of holes. Once you do both of those if you dont like the sound still you can clamp open the v4 flapper.

  15. This looks awesome on a white truck!
  16. These are the same price from the retrofit source, much more reputable than an ebay seller. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/bulbs/morimoto-h11b-bulbs.html
  17. It's called rust encapsulator, I ordered it from the eastwood website. Used two cans to do the entire frame. http://www.eastwood.com/rust-encapsulator-27490.html
  18. They don't usually salt the roads in Manitoba where I live, but the weather does take its toll. For the provinces that do salt like Ontario I'm pretty sure it has just become the norm for everyone to have corroded undercarriages. Most people are used to it.
  19. Oh man Id be furios, friggen hate cats.
  20. #2 makes sense if you are talking about travel length. A longer shock doesn't necessarily have a longer travel. Also longer shocks will increase down travel and require new upper control arms.
  21. I did my frame yesterday with rust encapsulator paint. Supposed to be one of the best spray on solutions to prevent rust. I'll probably follow up with some fluid film.
