  1. Yes my friend with a new silverado put my old 1.5" level on and he is sitting about dead level. My truck has sagged rear leafs and with just over 2" in the front my cab sits .75" higher at the front.
  2. I just wanted to update people on this. I had done the hose clamp in the past and it fixed most of my movement issues, but not all. Also I still had a bad creak to my seat. Even when I wasn't sitting on it, if I would push down with my hand it would creak bad. Today I had some time to pull my seat out and investigate. I put a zip tie around the bolt that's supposed to have a plastic retainer clip on it as per the TSB and that fixed the rest of my movement issues. Then I pulled my upholstery off and removed 4 hex screws from the bottom of the seat that held the two white plastic pieces on. The same two white plastic pieces that we put the hose clamps beside to stop movement. I then lathered the shaft that these plastic pieces sit on with lithium grease as well as in between the plastic pieces and the bottom of the metal bracket that they screw to. I can now safely say I have absolutely no seat movement or creaking. So if anyone is going to fix this issue themselves I suggest they follow the TSB and use the two retaining clips, one for the white plastic piece and the other that goes on the metal bolt as well as grease the white plastic pieces and shaft.
  3. Use imgur.com it doesnt make you create an account. Or upload to your gallery on this site and copy the link.
  4. I've had a deck that allowed me to mirror and used arunchained on my android phone. The novelty was cool, but it was really not needed and grew old. Not worth all the time and money I invested into it. So long as I can play anything on the deck off of my media devices I'm fine with that.
  5. This is what I'm talking about, so I guess if you just want to make sure your wheel wells look level then measure by the fenders, I personally want my cab level. The ground I'm sitting on in this picture isn't perfectly level, I just used it to demonstrate.

  10. I just discovered that even though our fenders may measure that our trucks are level most of us are actually sitting nose high. I took some pictures to upload later, but right now I have over .5" rake that means my rear end should be higher by .5". If I measure from ground to cab at the front and back of the cab it measures .75" higher in the front. So this means that approx. 1.5" of rake keeps the body of the truck actually level.
  11. Have you tried while in park? It may only support certain file types as well. I have never tried myself, but I know these trucks don't let you play video while driving. Your manual will tell you what file types are supported.

Interesting take on BHLM. I like how it looks like it blends into the body in the picture.
  13. I wouldnt paint the side markers as that would be illegal where I live. But I may paint the part that is normally black. So it would be white in the middle and black on the top and bottom.
