  1. But all the side conversations add to the number of posts which surely make the issue bigger...
  2. Mines been smooth from day I bought it except for 1 trip on I20 going into Augusta, GA. For a short stretch it had a shimmy type vibration in right lane only. Other than that instance, I've been more than pleased with ride.
  3. But it won't be the perfect country and western song if it doesn't say anything about mama, or trains, or prison, or getting drunk... :-)
  4. One response with a very short wear your seatbelt...albeit in caps. Yep, lots of guys posting speeches.
  5. First time our dog set off mine, I didn't realize the lights are on the upper console thingie. I heard dinging and figured it was from dog sitting in the front passenger seat but I couldn't locate a flashing light anywhere on dash. Then I panicked and started thinking something else was wrong. The flashing light finally caught my eye. Seems like an odd place for it.
  6. Column...and keep the keyed ignition.
  7. As was my Smootherado :-)
  8. What's funny is when we first bought our Dodge Durango back in 1998, dissatisfied owners on a Durango forum where praising the foreign SUVs because they were picked by J.D. Powers or some similar organization (maybe Consumer Reports???).

  10. And people here complain that the dealers are lying, thieving, good for nothing jerks...
  11. Support was lost when those that unfortunately have the issue make outrages claims that EVERY truck vibrates, that owners who say theirs ride smooth don't know anything or understand how a car should drive, that every GM is a POS, etc.
  12. I'm not sure what worries me more...the vibration some owners have or all the owners running around at 80mph concentrating on filming a water bottle shake, road conditions and speedometer instead of driving. Can't y'all get a passenger to ride along and man the camera?
  13. Underwear??? I store mine in bedroom dresser.
  14. Not sure of your point...don't think I accused you of such. Common core math?
  15. Sounds like you need to get that Lexus bought back!
  16. Technically, it is the 80-20 rule or Pareto principle. I just pulled the reply data here and 80% of the 8,307 replies have been made by 23% (158 of 692) of those posting replies. Still, the same concept, don't get caught up in the number of posts on this thread. There are a few very dissatisfied owners, and they should be, that are having this issue.
  17. I think that would be 1/1000 x 1/999 x 1/998 but not different enough to matter...
  18. 591 different members have posted. Top 20 account for 38% of the replies. Shakes/vibrations definitely a bad problem for those that have them but no one really knows how wide spread keeping in mind that hundreds of thousands have been sold.
  19. Sorry to upset you. From here on in this thread I'll follow the old adage about never teaching a pig to sing...it is wasting my time and obviously annoying the pig. Later...and best of luck with your truck.
  20. Correcting me? Funny. Like I stated earlier, you are full of yourself. I sympathize with anyone have issues with their expensive trucks and have no problems with the majority that are looking to share experiences, fixes and to look for answers. Eighty percent of your posts are attempts to make yourself feel better by telling others their time is coming.
  21. I am sure that is so totally frustrating. A consumer should not have to go through issues such as you and others are experiencing. I have followed several forums over the years beginning with in 1998 with a Dodge Durango. The vehicles have included that Dodge, another Chevy truck, a couple of Fords (bought used for my kids), two VWs and now this Chevy. Every one of them had its share of owners with issues. Unfortunately, no brand of new car has perfect quality. Perhaps part of my satisfaction is I'm coming to this truck from that '98 Durango being my daily driver...it was time for an updated vehicle. Whatever your resolution may be - a fixed truck, a good working GM, or another brand , I hope it comes soon for you.
  22. I'm loving it. I enjoy driving it around town (small rural town), on the highway and in larger cities I've driven it in. It rides great and I've not had any vibration issues short of one time on interstate running 75mph. I moved into another lane and ride smoothed out so. This was section of highway I've driven in several different vehicles and none ride smooth on it.
  23. I truly hope all these issues with your truck are corrected. No one should spend the money these trucks cost and not be happy/satisfied with their purchase. It's a shame your asinine remarks detract from the fact that you have genuine issues to share.
  24. You are either full of yourself or no more mature than a 10 year old troll. The crap about the honeymoon being over had no intent to help anyone.
