  1. You could stop posting them yourself and that might help
  2. I just love the "let's drag everybody into my misery" posts...
  3. I think that 500+ ft-lbs of torque was burned into my brain
  4. Agree with all you posted 1stepcloser except maybe the 5.3L having the power of a Duramax...or maybe my memory of our 2005 Duramax is a little off
  5. Same logic Mikegmi2 used..."based on my findings" Surely you don't agree with his 80% do have vibration issues???
  6. Well, I test drove 1. It drove/rode just fine so I bought it. Had never heard of this issue before purchase. So, based on my findings, 100% do NOT vibrate...
  7. Must not be all... http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/175832-how-many-trucks-dont-vibrate/ Percentage? Doubt anyone, at least here, will know. You will hear about how long this thread is but the folks with the problem have posted pretty prolifically here. Plus, it is only a small sample of all of the 1500s sold.
  8. On non-DI engines, there is no increased power/pep from higher octane fuel. The higher octane reduces preignition and associated "ping." For engines that are setup to produce high horsepower from combustion ratios, etc., the higher octane would be required to control the fuel ignition. No idea if the 5.3 having DI makes a difference but I doubt it does.
  9. Just FYI to others that might read this, I believe my LT only does this on the driver's seat...not on passengers. My driver's is the only one with power controls which might have impact on the adjustable headrest option.
  10. For 10,000+ miles you never thought anything about but now, with 2 posts, you're sick of it? Seems odd...
  11. Exactly how I felt getting back into my Chevy after 3 days in a 2014 Ram loaner while a scratched bumper was being fixed.
  12. Well, yeah, it's a truck.
  13. Never post on the internet before coffee or after alcohol, especially excessive amounts
  14. Oh my yes! A friend had one in high school. We were gathering for a backyard football game at a practice field and as I was pulling in behind him in my '68 Bug, my brake line split. I ran into rear of that Pinto doing maybe 5mph but I just knew it was going to blow and end it all for me.
  15. Thanks. I looked for that when I first go Chromecast a while back...no, now thinking about it, I was trying to mirror a Windows 7 laptop. I did not try Android phone.
  16. Can you send Google Maps to Chromecast? I've never tried. If not, you would be limited to video apps and web browsers that support Chromecast. I've not seen Chromecast do a "mirror" of phone,
  17. Has rear end issue been seen on both G80 locker and standard rear ends? Mine is G80 and, knock on wood, has had no vibration.
  18. On older cars it would not kill engine and was a way of checking alternator. I thought when they started loading them with computers and electronic controls, that this stopped working and engine would die when disconnected and had potential to fry some if the electronics. On the 1998 Dodge Durango we had the engine would stall at idle with a bad battery. I once had to jump it off and drive home from grocery store keeping RPMs up at stop lights, etc by popping into N and holding throttle open a little.
