    I need some help. I have a '14 SLT 5.3 with 3.42 gears and 2.5 level. My question is, I have stock 275/55/20 tires that weigh 39 lbs. I want to put on 285/55/20 Terra grapplers that weigh 58 lbs. That is 19 lbs more per corner but I'm leaving the diameter the same. How much rear wheel HP will I lose to the ground and how much will the weight effect MPG as well.

    I need some help to determine how much HP I will lose at the rear wheels. I have a '14 SLT 5.3 3.42 gears and 2.5 level. The stock 275/55/20 tire weigh 39 lbs. The new tire will be 285/55/20 terra grapplers weighing 58 lbs. My question is, the tires are 19 lbs heavier per corner but I'll be keeping the diameter the same. How much is this rotating mass weight going to effect my HP output to the grown? Any help would be appreciated.

    No I'm not local I'm in Denver. I'll be getting a 1.5 body also. Will the 285/55/22 fit with out rubbing and what gears do you have. Will I lose any HP Going from 20" wheels to 22"/34" tires with 3.42 gears. Thanks

    I love this truck. It's my favorite look and set up. I'm looking for the wheel too. If you don't want the 285/55/22 terra's. Let me know. I have a '14 SLT CC SB WHITE 4X4 with 2.5 level. I really love this look. Great job.

    I have a 2014 SLT CC SB with 5.3 and 3.42 gears. I love the 22" CK158 GM wheels but not sure if thats a good idea. I have 20" now. Will I lose more horse power going to a 285/55/22 tire or should I just order a set of 20" CK158 replicas. I also have a 2.5 level.

    I am planning on getting a set of those wheels also, I love them. My biggest problem is Nitto Terra Grappler doesnt make a 285/50/22. I my have to get a replica in a 20" then put on some 285/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I do have a 2.5 RC Level on it.

    I still have not found a reply on the ride quality with this set up. I already have the 2.5 level on the same truck. I also wanted to keep the stock ride quality. Will the body lift make it ride like crap or should I just stay with what I have. I'll be adding some 275/60/20 Nitto terra grapplers or 295/60/20. I would love the to do the CK158 22" wheels but I cant get a Nitto terra grappler in a 285/50/22 or even a 295/50/22. I have 3.42 gears with the 5.3. Need help here.
