  1. If it is of any interest after selling my 2015 LTZ with the non-Bose and getting a 2016 Yukon with the Bose setup, the Bose system is MUCH better. After 6 months of the non-Bose going to the Bose is a huge improvement. I could see sitting in the dealer lot for 5 minutes not noticing it but after living with this the Bose is so much better. Not trying to ruffle feather, just my opinion.
  2. Question on the Katzkins. Did they get any "tighter" than when you first installed them? I am looking considering some but they seem a little loose. No offense meant.
  3. In V4 mode the sound was very tinny, like ping ping ping. It is gone now. I hope it is gone for good. It is crazy how different the truck is now. The truck is running like a sewing machine. I am nervous to jinx my luck. I have my radio off most of the time waiting to hear the crap some back. But so far so good.
  4. They first adjusted my exhaust and the vibration went away for 300 miles. This time they replaced whatever amount is needed to replace the flap valve in the rear. I have a little more than 300 miles now with fingers crossed it stays fixed.
  5. 2015 5.3 LTZ I have a tread but the search engine here does not seem to find it. I have what I quickly tuned tuned in as an exhaust vibration. GM tried to fix it early on but it came back. My complaint was a noise and vibration at 30-40mph under light load. What I did not realize is how much vibration I was feeling at all other speeds and loads. GM recently replaced my exhaust. Holly crap. I did not realize how much I would recognize the improvements it would make all ALL other speeds. I cannot hear or feel the difference in V4 any more. I don't feel the throttle pedal vibrate at all speeds. When I accelerate hard I don't feel like an injector is bad past 3k RPM. Seriously the engine shook. Honestly I keep looking at my dash to see if I am in V4 or V8. The truck is smooth like a new truck is supposed to be. The drone is gone, small vibrations that I would not have tried to complain about are gone. I have no idea what is different about the new exhaust. I posted this because in the Yukon forum they say a new exhaust is coming to fix the vibration problems. I used to hate this truck, it is really nice to drive now. I keep my radio off in disbelief of the improvement.
  6. Can you buy replacement brackets for the 6 inch rectangular factory steps? Does anyone know if this would allow 2500 steps to work on a 1500? From the looks of it the passenger brackets are different to accommodate the diesel exhaust. Thanks

  8. How long does it take to change the settings on these? Do you have to remove them or is it simple?

  11. I cannot confirm these are the correct Bose dash speakers but they seem to be. It is not my listing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/231750900417?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  12. I dont know if anyone could actually answer this. Any idea if a Suburban center console could be used to replace my factory console? Also I see multiple part numbers for a factory 2015 Silverado CC black console, which is the correct to my truck console please? I want to do some mods... EDIT. I just looked at mine, no way this will fit. What is the factory part number for my console please? I ahve seen a few numbers... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Factory-New-OEM-GM-Tahoe-Suburban-Center-Console-Assembly-Jet-Black-23467971-/141696611131?vxp=mtr&hash=item20fdc6b33b
  13. Does anyone know how to remove the grill to get the dash speaker out, obviously without causing any damage? Thank you
  14. So I am looking at the Kicker upgrade with an amplifier. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206PSIRE14/Kicker-VSS-PowerStage-System.html?tp=61674 I am concerned about this "processor features pre-set high-pass filters, EQs, and speaker time alignment" Part of the reason I am interested in the kit is to add an amplifier, easily to my stock system, and then also install new door speakers. I am concerned they have a high pass filter since the paper speakers don't have a real tweeter. Can a user adjust the filters, eq, etc on this Kicker DSP? So I can tune it for some decent speakers? Thanks
  15. For those with the AMP boards, I have watched a few online videos. When they are open do they seem to sit too close to the ground on a stock height Silverado? Would they open and hit a curb? Thanks
  16. 2015 Chevy Silverado Extang Solid Fold 2.0 review. I just received this today. Reading online reviews I expect it will leak. I bought it for 3 reasons. 1. I can open and close the tailgate without opening the cover 2. Bed Security 3. Easy to remove. First off, it is easy to install, 5 minutes, seriously. The quality was much better than I expected.
  17. From what I have read someone should to create a google doc/ excel type spreadsheet so we can try to see if a certain combination is more likely to create this issue. I think there needs to be many fields. Like what size rims, tires, diff ratio, engine, tire size, build date, what speed is the vibration, what is the fix, owners notes, etc.
  18. Love the color! Mine is a few weeks old.
  19. I have not read this whole thread. I test drove a 2015 Chevy Silverado CC, brand new, at the dealership, 3GCUKSEC9FG448252, horrible vibration around 55-65 MPH. Is this the issue everyone is experiencing? I passed on it and bought it's sister truck that did not have this issue. But is this the vibration or are there multiple variations?
