  1. I second the Corsa or Borla Catback. You will get the best results. Second choice would be a Corsa or Borla muffler only, but I've heard mixed results. If you don't care about the sound that may be ok. But if you want a great sound without the drone, then go catback. You should be able to find a full kit for closer to $1200 or less during a sale or promotion.
  2. All of the dealerships are independent businesses and not directly associated with GM. They just sale and distribute their product with agreements. Your best resource for a dealership complaint is calling the dealership manager/owner or complaining through Yelp or Google. GM won't do anything as far as I know.
  3. If you look at the etching on the OEM windows they clearly state what % UV they block. I think all of the windows have it called out. And I think they all say 99% UV protection standard from factory regardless of window color.
  4. That suspension is only available on the Denali. If you have the SLT you do not have adaptive suspension. Again, that knob does nothing for suspension. It only helps with traction control, throttle, and shifting.
  5. None of those will protect your door sills. If you want a rock slider look at something similar to what GM offers for the new ZR2. I went with the GM high clearance off-road step on my AT4. They don't provide any protection, but they're high and tight and won't get in the way or snag on things as much as some of the other options.
  6. Stick with a street tire. Don't get off-road tires. They look dumb on a lowered truck.
  7. Your truck does not have any suspension adjustments at all. That knob only controls traction control and throttle response. Just put a few pounds in the back of the bed and your ride will settle down substantially. Trucks are designed to carry heavy loads. It's hard to make a truck that rides smooth in an unloaded condition without sacrificing loaded performance.
  8. I had a Corsa Touring cat back on an older 2003? Yukon and loved the sound. I too prefer a quieter exhaust. It wasn’t super quiet but also not annoyingly loud. I have the GM performance exhaust (Borla) now on my 6.2 and it’s very quiet except when accelerating. The Corsa sounded better but the Borla is definitely quieter while cruising.
  9. It's the same engine, but DFM is disabled. DFM doesn't affect HP/TQ at all. There's also Auto Start/Stop to consider.
  10. My truck has the Goodyear Trailrunners. Not the Duratracs. I’m not looking for a rough ride. I like my truck for what it is. It’s just not a great tow vehicle. And it’s probably the suspension more than the tires.
  11. Nice job! Excellent execution. This should be standard from GM though.
  12. I wouldn't buy a new truck for towing once a year. Just drive slow and be mindful of how much gear you put into the trailer. Water adds a lot of weight - 8 pounds a gallon. Make sure you have a strong trailer brake.
  13. For like $50 and 30 minutes of your time you can install a pair of LED lights in the tailgate step and they turn on whenever the bed lights are on. The harness is pre-installed from the factory and no extra programming required. These should be standard IMHO, but it's an easy, useful upgrade.
  14. My tint shop had a check box for "legal" and "illegal" tint and made the buyer sign a waiver if they wanted an illegal shade. They said that many of the "illegal" buyers came back within a few months to have it replaced after getting a ticket or not being able to pass inspection. The comparison to buying a gun is incorrect. Selling a gun to a felon is illegal under all circumstances - no exceptions. Having dark tinted windows is only illegal on the streets. There's plenty of vehicles that are used for shows and off-road only. This is exactly the same as all of the "illegal" lights that people install on their vehicles. Very few light mods are DOT approved. 99% of them are "for off-road use only" but people use them on the streets as well.
  15. The TPMS warning usually comes on pretty low. Like under 20 or something. I did some sand running and put the pressure down to 22 I think and never got a warning.
  16. I have a 2021 AT4 (same suspension as a trailboss) and it's not as comfortable when towing as my 2015 Denali. The suspension is too soft. I have a ~6000lb boat that I tow on the weekends during the summer. If you don't have to go long distances, it might be fine. But if you want a solid towing rig I'd go with a different setup.
  17. Just because it came with one size tire doesn't mean you have to stay with that tire size. You can put whatever size tires you want on it.
  18. They say that the lifter problem was isolated to a bad batch back in early 2021. The previous trucks used the same lifters I think and they didn't have nearly as many problems as the recent 6.2L's have had. It's a great engine, and GM is fixing them when they go bad, even after warranty in some cases. I wouldn't worry about it and buy what makes you happy.
  19. I had a Corsa Touring Cat Back a few years ago on my Yukon and loved it. Awesome, throaty sound on acceleration and quiet while cruising. My new AT4 came with the GM Performance Exhaust which is the Borla exhaust. It sounds ok, but is much quieter than I was expecting. If I had a choice I would go with the Corsa. It definitely sounded better. And FWIW, I prefer a quiet exhaust, but the Borla is too quiet if you want a performance exhaust. I only got the GMPE on this truck because I had no choice.
  20. It only appears to be $250, if it's available. That a drop in the bucket compared to the the price of a Yukon. New incentives come out today for March. You'll know what they are when you pick it up.

  22. GMC.com will tell you exactly what rebates are available from GM. You're not going to get anything extra from the dealer, so whatever GM is offering is all you're going to get.
  23. I got XPEL XR Plus. It was around $500-$600 for all 6 windows. I don't remember exactly. It was the best product at my local shop. They did have the standard ceramic line, but this was slightly better. Like 99% heat rejection vs 95% or something. It's hot and sunny here in Texas. I was trying to get the most performance. $100-$200 extra was well worth it for me.
  24. I just had the windows "tinted" on my new truck. There are several different options. Stand "tint" is metallic tint. It's mostly just for visual light and UV protection. It's what most people get because it's cheap. You can do the fronts only for like $100 - $150 to match the color of the rears. There's ZERO heat rejection - only UV. If you step up to ceramic "coatings" (that's what they called it, but you can also call it tint) you can block radiated heat. I had ceramic added to my rear windows, my front windows, and the front windshield. The ceramic coating blocks >95% of the sun's heat in the legal tinted versions. For the front windshield it's very lightly tinted (like 75% transparent or something) to be street legal and only blocks like 60% of the sun's heat. It cost me ~$600 for the whole truck. It makes a HUGE difference inside the cab of my truck when the hot summer sun is coming through - especially in the front. Money well spent in my opinion.
