  1. My truck sat through a downpour the other day, then it stopped raining. I got in the truck and drove to a friends house, parked with the passengers side on a slight incline and then I started getting drips from my overhead console. I got out and checked in the sunroof area and didn't have much water there. Then wiggled the sharknfin and it seems like there is too much play. Looks like I might have to remove it and see what's going on. It's still under bumper to bumper, but I'd rather not have to deal with dropping it off, etc.
  2. I love this, nice and clean. I have a shaved antenna on my S10 and actual mast is under the dash but my reception isn't great. I think I will do this to my ZR2. I always hit the mast when cleaning snow from my windshield, even the shorty one I have gets in the way from time to time.
  3. Agreed. a 275/60R20 will be about 2" taller.
  4. Yeah I knew I wouldn't need the resistors. I'm hoping the connections are correct for the new ones. I found them slightly cheaper on Carid but at least with Amazon if it doesn't work for my truck I can easily return them. Thanks for the reply.
  5. Hello. Ever since I've picked up my ZR2 I've been hunting for OEM style black tail lights. I found ones I really like but it says they are for trucks with incandescent lights. I did see a guy running them on his ZR2 in a FB Group but he hasn't replied to my question or PM. Does anyone know if its possible for lights like this to work on a truck already equipped with LED tail lights? https://www.amazon.com/KEEKPO-Incandescent-Upgrade-2019-2023-Silverado/dp/B0CD17PGTB?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A21V9Z82905EPU&gQT=2 Or do you know of a light similar to this that will work with a factory LED equipped truck? I prefer something with a OEM style but black housing and clear lens. I do not want a tinted lens. Thank You.
  6. Looking at these wheels and tires for winter time. Does anyone know the smallest spacer I would need to clear the brake caliper?
  7. I was wonder if anyone has any photos of a SLT with AT4 wheels on it. I don't typically like dark wheels when a vehicle also has chrome, but with the polished face I was curious how it would look. look at a lot of photo in this thread, but will admit I didn't go through all 70 pages. Thanks for any help.
  8. Excellent. Just curious, did your standard mirrors heated, auto dim, task lights, etc? I'm not looking to install tow mirrors, but would like to buy a set of Aftermarket Task lights, open them up and install amber LEDs to function as running lights and/or turn signals. The task light to me and a neat idea but usually useless. I would rather have a functioning turn signal, or at least make it capable of using it as a ditch light under a certain speed.
  9. Thank you for the info! I don't mind using a 1/8-1/4" shim, I just didn't want to use anything much larger than that.
  10. Hello everyone. I tried to search for this, but all I could find was info for heated and power fold options, etc. Just curious if the 1500 mirror wire harness is pre-wired for clearance lights and/or turn signals. Thanks for any help.
  11. I'm aware of that... it's stated in my post... you even quoted it.
  12. Hello. I was just curious if anyone has run older OEM wheels like from the KA gen, on their 2019+ T1. I know the wheel would hit the caliper, so I was curious how much of a spacer is needed for the wheel to clear. Or, if you are running oversized replica's do they still have the same problem with the wheel hitting the caliper. Thank you.
  13. My turn... I’ve been towing this camper since I purchased my truck new almost two years ago, before that I pulled it with my 2015 Sierra. I've never had a problem until last week. Pick up my camper, checked the lights and everything worked fine. I get to the campground and notice the running lights were on w the truck off and a slight strobe effect from the tail lights. Then I check my brake and turn signal lights. Nothing. My truck also doesn’t see a trailer connected. My buddy hooked up his Titan and everything worked fine. Used a test light on my truck's 7 pin and it shows only running lights and constant power have current. I brought it to the dealer, they tested it and sent me a video, everything works for them but they did replace the receptacle for me. I take the truck back to my trailer, still same results. A few weeks ago I did pull my small cargo trailer and had no problems. Both trailers have LED lights, tomorrow I'll go to my camper and check the ground circuit if I can. Wish me luck and please post any help you might have.

  15. Highly disagree. The new interior is a much needed improvement. The old interiors were extremely boring and outdated. The Denali interior was no different than the SLT with exception of the badge on the steering wheel... It was the worst part on GM trucks. Finally GM has a nicer interior than Ford and close to Dodge.
  16. I have this same problem. I've tried everything password I can think I would have used and none work. So while I'm driving down the road with a 30', 7000lbs in tow they want me to enter a password? Maybe next time I'll call and wait on the phone for them to help me while I'm driving.
  17. Love the lowered stance and wheels.
  18. Your few short drives may show the best results given that condition, where the EPA rating would also include other factors, one big factor would be regen period which can drastically reduce your over all average. I'm sure like many other variables, that GM factors in liability and may claim slightly underrated figures to protect themselves. I know this is the case with speedometer accuracy. If you ever check the speedometer on a stock vehicle to a GPS you can expect to see a slight difference where the speedo reads about 1-2% faster than your actually traveling. Better for a manufacture to slightly underrate the vehicle to cover their ass'ets. lol Look what happened with VW and Dodge in Dieselgate not to long ago, or Ford recalled the Cobra in '99 because they over rated the power numbers and owners were upset, etc.
  19. So the other day I noticed that someone had scratched the passenger door of my 20' Quicksilver Sierra. I also have a chip from a stone strike on my drivers fender I'd like to do. I have touched up vehicles in the past and it never looks great. Anyone have any suggestions on a good touch up paint? Any tips on application methods? Thinking I may just get the proper paint code, touch it up, and after it cures, wet sand and buff it to try and bring it flush with the stock paint. Thanks for any suggestions.
  20. So is the button on the dash is basically a momentary button that sends ground to the BCM. Every time a ground signal is sent it will either turn on or off the cargo lights? Thomas, if you test that and that is all it takes a simple grounded momentary switch/button in the bed could work in conjunction w the button on the dash. Which would be great news. I often get home from a race in the evening and use the cargo lights to unload my truck and have always thought it was inconvenient to go back into the cab to shut them off. Even more annoying that it can only be done by the drivers side, where previous years it was accessible by either side because it was in the center stack.
  21. This is for the Sierra owners, were you able to remove your tow hooks with the bumper still on the truck? IDK if it's because I own a 3.0 liter and there is more stuff in the way, but the access to the drivers side bolts is minimal. I don't even think the bolts would come out all the way without hitting a cooler.
  22. I don't remember if it was our 2013 Acadia or 2015 Sierra but one of them did display photos from a thumb drive. I haven' t tried a card or thumb drive in my 2020 yet.
  23. The 2019+ brakes are already an upgrade from previous years. The 6 piston calipers would be nice, especially since I tow a camper. But at $2500+ it's pretty pricey. For about a total of $600 I'm sure you could significantly reduce stopping distance with some good EBC pads and good slotted rotors. Also, remember if you do the big brake upgrade your brake services get more expensive too. On other vehicles with option brake upgrades I've seen 2-4 times the price just for pads alone.
  24. My only dislike about the factory style "TrailBoss" logo is the white back ground. It makes it look like a bumper sticker and not a plotted decal. I think it would look much cleaner with just the black/grey/red
