  1. Those are some bright LED lights. I am on the fence between the HIDs and LEDs. I like LED lighting but I am very familiar with the HIDs. I have run DDM 55W HIDs for ever on all my trucks and I haven't decided what Im going to run in my 2015. I don't think that I will be switching out the projectors as I don't keep my truck long enough to switch that out. I would like to add some new Headlights. Is the Morimoto Kit really worth the expense over the DDM Kits? If I go the Morimoto route what all do I need to install on my truck?
  2. Loving the low profile look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Well my wife ended up getting the Retrax Pro MX for me with the help of my father. I was a bit surprised but she did awesome. She ordered it from tonneau factory outlet. The cover fits awesome and the install was super simple. Will post pics tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thank you for the tip. I did call RNL and they made we aware of the hardware to do this for all trucks. It comes standard on all RNL cover I was just told to verify that the top is a newer production model as they new covers come with this options. Do you find that the RNL leaks a bunch? The technician that I spoke with mentioned that the cover will leaks at the Tailgate. Any Experience??
  5. Do you find that the Retrax Leaks any?
  6. Do you find with the retrax that you lose alot of your truck bed? That is my only concern with the Retrax
  7. Without the second locking mechanism is the top as secure and watertight? Does it fit tight against the tailgate? My dealer has Roll-N-Lock available and they wil warranty the cover but I didn't like having a bar on my tailgate because of loading 4 wheelers. This is encouraging.
  8. Does anyone know whether or not the locking bar located on the tailgate for the Roll-N-Lock is necessary? Right now im between the Roll-N-Lock A Series and the Retrax Pro MX. The truck is a 2015 Silverado with the short bed and I On my 2012 I had the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite and it was a great cover but it leaked a bunch. My co-worker has the G4 on his 2014 GMC and it barely leaks any water. I really want something that is more low profile and locks. The Bakflip covers are not being considered because they have no locking mechanism but I like the low profile look.
  9. Hey Guys, New to the site and have been reading through this page and seeing all the different installs. I have a 2015 Silverado High Country and I want to add HID lights to my truck. Coming from a 2012 Silverado I ran the DDM 55W Kits and it was a simple plug and play. I never had a wiring harness or error eliminator/capacitor so I trying to sort through all of this that I need. . I am familiar with DDM but have been looking at the Morimoto kits but they have different types of H11 Bulbs. Would the Silverado use the H11 XA or XB? Are these kits worth the money? If I go with the DDM route which has never done me wrong, would the Ultra Canbus HID kit be all that I need or do I need relay kits? If I go the Morimoto route what would I need to hook up the lights? Thank You in advance.
