  1. it is foolish but in a city land is expensive so roof mount it only option. its also a good oportunity for Highschool drop outs to start a business in solar panel cleaning for homes, beats being a gardener
  2. what manufactuer did you go with on your panels, and are the replacement parts off shelf replaceable , or is everything needed to operate solar utility have to be purchased directly from the installer? i'd like to build a set up for a small rv park in Arizona but dont want to beholden to the installer for thier components.
  3. https://www.hemmings.com/parts/item/19869.html, i have no idea what would happen with the tcu if you dropped in the camaro trans, i guess HPtuners can delete or segment swap out an old 8 speed for the manual box
  4. Keep an eye on Germany for the future. they have completly shut down the nukes, and are beginning to kill their coal power off this year..
  5. probably use it for emergency to get out a rut thats all. but a 2wd and transfer case in 4 Lo, with a gov locker will get you out too. i would just run no front drive shaft til you get your parts together.
  6. the point is Honda's are built right!! they say if you forget to put oil in a honda motorcycle motor, nothing will happend to the crankshafts they can go foreve. those Jap's are amaizing !
  7. there cant be more than 500mL in the radiator and cooling lines, not of my concern. i just add fresh stuff once or twice a year.
  8. i only remove the top upper trans line and run a hose into a bucket, i leave the lower line attach to radiator., the low side hardly pulls any fluid. the pressure side is the top line. remove t-stat completly and block by-pass, i feel the flip trick works but might inhibit fluid flow, so i delete it completly. i flush with 2 gallons of new fluid every year
  9. yeah but if you take it to the dealer for work , the mechanic possibly will know about the kill switch, it's still a good idea to install
  10. Class History Lesson American History Review circa 2020:
  11. usually it begins with being targeted by the employees who work at your local dealership.. once they know where you live via paperwork in the glove box and information on the dealership computer system. your done.. order a key or simply copy your key while they are doing the order laybor on the car.. cant trust anyone not even the factory employees
  12. these trucks are very easy to steal, but I wont post how. it was discussed years ago but i'm not helping anyone find the thread either
  13. disconnect the drive to the front until you find a front diff with 3.74 gears
  14. maybe so.. they have more experience than me. but the factory didnt design it to be overdriven. so reliability may suffer
  15. airflow simutation software has a huge hand in the design of modern intake systems. the amount of money that went into these programs is NASA budget... the fact that the old stuff could make so much more power back in the old days was the whole point of hot rodding... the future for rodding looks dead, now you can order the new electric Hummer , it comes stock with 1000hp and 11,000 ft lbs or torque. not much to improve on or upgrade anymore... i see little grandmas driving 400hp cars these days, i cant even pass the blue hairs anymore..
  16. you need to watch all of Preston's videos. he explains the lash cap. its not for overdriving the pump, its needed when you upgrade the fuel lobe due to cam grind offset https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9Poo-X0q0m4qnkWMqV80xg
  17. have to call them HPT guys, but it might be BCM controlled, so tech 2 might be required
  18. lug lug a chuggin... just leave it in 3rd gear , i would actually keep the rear diff as is. kinda cool to have long legs for the freeway, then source a 3.74 rear diff, those usually come in z71 and work trucks. with the G80 bomb locker.. then just do an easy unbolt full rear end swap, throw the 3.08 in storage till you get time to install gears in it. junker yard diff might cost $500 with everything on it i'de run the 33-34" tall tires with the steel 17" PPV police rims
  19. do you have grill shutters? reason i ask is , I would like to figure out how to adjust the opening closing sequence ,but i doubt HPT has access to this? was toying with the idea of removing engine t-stat, and installing a restrictor in place, and running open, while using the shutters to regulate the radiator temp.
  20. try preston moores website, he has lots of cool info , hes also got a good youtube page to get you started
  21. factory spent MIlions of dollars in R and D on manifold design, along come the grease monkies who think they can out think the factory guys , lol
  22. is this a 8 or 10 speed trans? just find a 4 wheel shop and spend another $1500 on a gear change, arn't Denali's equipts with 5.11 or something crazy to spin 25" nogger rims?
  23. sounds like a fun project. on your cam from BTR did they mention anything about checking the lash on the fuel pushrod pump lobe, or are you using a stock fuel lobe grind? i've read on some profile grinds if , you dont use a lash cap, your loosing a lot of fuel flow, negating the extra fuel lobe increase..
