Hello all, I’ve been “enlightened” to the say the least about the Diablo tuners. I’ve always thought if it wasn’t Black Bear it was subpar lol. My current 2015 Silverado 5.3L 6spd 3.42 rear end has me at whits end with the low speed gear hunting and lugging around when I should be getting instant acceleration. Aftwe reading this thread I’ve started looking at the I3 and the Predator 2. It seems like the only benefit the I3 has is it can take custom tunes but the Predator has a tow tune. Anyway, my main question: is everyone in agreement that the basic issues are taken care of with the Diablo (lugging and gear hunting)? I’m not the most tech savvy but I could handle the basic functions of a tuner as long as there’s no formulas for fine tuning lol. I just want this truck to be more smooth and responsive as a daily driver.

2015 Silverado 1500 LT CC Standard Box. Purchased used (1 owner) with the GMC wheels already swapped. Added a tonneau, Z71 grille, and debadged. Leveling and tires coming soon.

Ok thanks, was wanting to get the TSB number just in case the dealer wanted to play dirty and say it was just normal noises.

Does anyone have the TSB info for the 2016 Silverados? Mine is doing the same chirping at 10,000 miles.

I have the Equalizer hitch and it seems to do pretty well with the bouncing. I like the SumoSpring conecept because when the truck isn't loaded it's just like stock, I would hate to have to air up and air down though with a digital gauge you could do that from the truck. How far do you typically tow? What's the furthest you've towed?

I want to do this mod so bad. Given how easy it is, I want to do it even more. Given how much it costs, I'll wait

I have a 2016 Double Cab LT Z71 with 3.42 gears. 2.5" level kit and 34" tires. I have a 33' TT weighs 6800 pounds without anything in it. It's probably just about all I'd want to pull in the truck. It pulls it just fine, but it doesn't like it too much. I have a weight distribution hitch with sway control and an aftermarket brake controller. I also had tow mirrors installed. I would like to do the backup camera and maybe some SumoSprings but that's about it.

Wiper blades on my sucked the first time I used them. I recommend the Bosch Icon as well, but dang they're $50 for a pair.

Only had it for 3 months and I've already put a 2" RC level kit, 20" GMC replica wheels with 275/60 Cooper Discoverer ATP. Thinking about going with some CHROME snowflake wheels instead, they are really starting to grow on me!
