  1. Thanks. How did you notice that as you can't see them when you're sitting in the truck? FWIW, I'm not concerned as I disable the auto-stop as part of my starting the truck routine. I turn the auto-stop off in less than a second after I push the ignition start button every time I start the truck..
  2. FWIW, I installed the Rough Country leveling kit on my 2019 AT4 and there are no clearance issues with the CV boot. LOTS of clearance. Make sure you put the bolt heads up when installing the lower strut mount bolts.
  3. The coating which I believe gives the plastic chrome the black chrome look is coming off both my fog shrouds. FWIW, truck is a 2019 AT4. It's covered under warranty but I'm curious if this is a known issue or did I just get a "bad" set. I can't imagine I just lucked out and got two bad ones. Seems to me like if both of mine are peeling that I'm probably not the only one?
  4. If you read my post you'll see I deviated from my planned route and drove directly to my dealers service drive as it's intermittent and you have to get it to them when it's occurring or you get what you got from your dealer, "Failure to Replicate" the issue. The hard part in these issues is having it occur when you're available and close enough to your/a dealer and hoping they'll pull somebody from "the back" to come and see it happening while truck is running in their service drive. Very frustrating. Taking a video is a good technique which I've used a number of times to demonstrate intermittent problems. Also stated in my post is a new radio was ordered and delivered today. Now I get to have my dash dismantled by a dealer tech. Lovely.....
  5. Ooops, no I won't be going the Ford route as you have. I just clicked on the link and saw the Ford lights you used cost $80 for three lights. I'm too cheap to spend that much for 3 lights. Especially since they are cosmetic items...
  6. Confused yes. Hurt feelings? I'm puzzled why you'd think my feelings were hurt. It just seemed strange you'd repost exactly what you already posted in great detail in the thread. Whatever.... I will say I like the Ford lights you used better than what I have and you used on your first go around. If mine fail I have 6 spare ones to use and they only cost $13 for a box of ten lights. The quality seems to be fine for the application but only time will tell. If I have issues with mine I'll go the Ford route as you've done.
  7. Yeah, I read and saw the various pictures that in you shared in detail in your various posts in this thread. Are you sharing new/different info than what you've already detailed in this thread? I'm confused on your repost and am curious if I'm just missing "new" information you're sharing?
  8. I just realized I should have posted this in the Troubleshooting sub-forum. Sorry. I reposted it over there but am not able to delete a/this post. I can edit my posts but there doesn't seem to be a delete post option?
  9. My 2019 AT4 has the OEM package provided "base" stereo. Intermittently when I try to play music from my iphone either thru bluetooth or "wired" via Apple CarPlay the stereo plays the output from both the radio AND the external device. If I'm listening to the radio and use the touchscreen to select my phone as the source of input the stereo will play BOTH the iphone output as well as the FM/AM output. I can hear both sources coming out the speakers at the same volume. If talk radio is on I can hear the talking as well as the music I've selected from my phone. In other words, the stereo is not switching off the radio output when the second source is introduced. It does this about once a week and cycling the truck off and on does not reset of resolve the issue. Cycling the stereo on and off doesn't resolve the problem. It usually "fixes" itself overnight. I parked it in the driveway last night with problem occurring and this morning all was well. This has been happening intermittently since I bought the truck about 1.5 years ago. It occurred last night on the way home from work so I drove directly to my dealer to let them hear this strange phenomena. They got their electronics tech to come out and look/listen to it and he was very surprised stating he'd never seen this before. He checked for updates or bulletins to no avail. They went ahead and ordered me a new radio for replacement under warranty. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

  11. A different approach:
  12. Well I'll be go to hell. First I've ever seen them/that and I thought I knew everything ?. I can't believe I never saw them or read about them despite all the magazines I subscribe to and forums I read. You learn something new every day! Thanks guys.
  13. Ahhh, thanks. I didn't know "puddle lamps" existed. I appreciate you taking the time to educate me. FWIW, I can't view your picture. I shows a file named "spacer.png" but does nothing when I click on it. I wish it did as I'm curious to see how they project the logo.
  14. I have a Smittybilt X20 10,000 lb winch with synthetic rope on my 2018 Wrangler and it's been a good winch. It's a wired/wireless winch.
  15. Yes sir, that's what I'm talking about. Aren't these the lights this thread is addressing? If the ones I'm talking about are "called" work lights I'm not certain what kind of work I'd be doing that light projected straight down to the ground below the mirrors would prove beneficial. I'd appreciate anyone that could enlighten me on how these "work" lights would prove useful. I'm missing something...
  16. Thanks. I find it interesting that manually cycling these lights with the switch turns on the right side light only with the first push of the switch, the second push turns off the right side and turns on the left while the third push then turns on both left and right. A final push of the switch turns both off. I thought there was some "hidden/cryptic" usage for these lights the way they provide for the cycling I listed above. I personally find them about as useful as ****** on a boar hog...
  17. I'm curious what these lights would be used for as I've never had them on prior vehicles. I have them on my AT4 but in over a year I've never used them. What am I missing? In what scenario are they useful? FWIW, I'm genuinely interested in their purpose and am not trolling.
  18. I grabbed power from fuse #40 which is Misc. Ignition. Anytime truck is running they're on. Link provided. Note these are rated at 90 lums and I wouldn't want them any brighter. Amazon has other similar lights by different manufacturers at the same price point but the next lowest lumen I saw was 120. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MU7IT47/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  19. Thanks. I think if anything goes awry it will be due to the "cheap" lights failing. They seem well made but how well can they be when they only cost ~$15 for a box of 10. They're in there pretty good...
  20. Installed some Amazon LED grill lights. I read a thread where guys were mounting on a 1" x 36" aluminum bar stock 1/8" wide. I did it a different way. I was playing around and found the threaded stud OD of the lights was just wide enough to "friction fit" them in the grill. I simply put the light in the "receiver" as shown and tapped them in tight with a socket against the outer flange of the light. They're in there pretty snug and I don't think I'll have any issues. I did super glue the flange to the body of the light as the flange pops off easily. Time will tell.... I think they look good without being over-the-top. Comments welcomed, I have thick skin.
  21. Looks good
  22. I just installed the RC 2" leveling kit on a 1/2 ton AT4. I don't have before and after measurements from the hub but I do from the ground. My front measured 39.5" from ground to the "scribed" line near the middle of the plastic fender flare before install. After install it was 41.5". I got as "exactly" 2" inches. Just installe
  23. I know the owners manual from my recent Tahoe included removal instructions for the air dam and suggested it be removed for off road usage. I'll check the AT4 manual.
