  1. And I’ve argued with him about that on here before. He shouldn’t be using it but it’s his truck so whatever. Apparently he’s an environmentalist and cares about his carbon foot print over anything else. You don’t run E85 in a vehicle not equipped for it
  2. Yes you need one. It’s absolutely pointless to run it if the ecm won’t adjust. There is no benefit at all. It will actually hurt your performance.
  3. Wait my reply to you was if you had a flex fuel capable vehicle. If you don’t then running E85 is a complete waste of money and will hurt the performance of your truck
  4. Yes. But there is no point. You either run gas or E85. No need to blend fuels. Only reason to blend is if your fuel system couldn’t handle a high percentage of E
  5. Yes. The flex fuel sensor reads the alcohol content and automatically adjust the tune for it.
  6. The “Flex” in Flex Fuel means it’s flexible and able to burn regular fuel and ethanol
  7. Today I started on swapping my front struts. Im removing the oem's with the strut spacer and replacing with lifted struts. What a pain in the ass it is to remove these things. The front axle/CV sits right on top of the lower strut mounts and its a pai to get the mounting screw out. Had to remove the CV to get it out of the way. 3hrs to do the passenger side and about 10 minutes to do the drivers lol. Then my spring compressor just didn't have enough grunt to compress the spring enough so now I gotta run everything up to a shop and see if I can get them to swap springs for me. Hopefully finish up the install tomorrow morning
  8. And she ain’t trying to get half of everything??? Wow that’s lucky bro. Sorry to hear about the divorce
  9. The manual recommends a lighter fluid in the rear, that's odd. Since Im getting new gears put in on the 27th I'll get fresh fluid installed then and then again after 500 miles of break in get the fluid changed again. I'll be right at 18k miles when that goes down. I'll be using Redline gear oil
  10. You two must have not been married long?
  11. Finally got to use my front mount hitch today
  12. If you’re gonna be drag racing I’d launch in 4hi.
  13. Sounds like maybe it would be for your benefit then. Go for it
  14. Or you could just wax it lol
  15. ^^^This and no I don’t need it explained to me. I’m well aware what ceramic coating is. I can just think of a million other things that $1600 would be better spent on that’s all. Not my money though and I’ll admit the truck is clean.
  16. $1600 to get your truck waxed and its the best money you've ever spent. Cant wrap my head around that one
  17. I got a 7” Rough Country bracket kit. Love it
  18. After looking at multiple calculators that seems to be the best ratio for my truck with a 7” lift and 35’s. Should make city driving a lot nicer and get me back some MPGs. Make towing my toy hauler a little more pleasant.
  19. Ordered the EE catch can and set my appointment for the 27th to get my 4.56's put in
  20. Ordered new RC 2.0 lifted struts so I can get rid of the strut spacers. Also ordered their new Vertex reservoir rear shocks.
  21. Just remove the clean side hose from the catch can and spray it in there. The other end of the hose should be going directly into the side of the intake
  22. Royal Purple Max Blast. Ran it through the pcv line that runs into the intake.
  23. Just did a DI cleaning. 17k miles on my truck so it probably didn’t need it but I did it anyways
  24. Because the trailer probably has surge brakes and the tongue weight on a boat trailer is nothing compared to a travel trailer because all the weight is at the ass end of the trailer.
