  1. Putting a can on at 130k miles is about as pointless as those pictures u posted. A catch can is a preventative measure not a cure
  2. Those look like shit.
  3. Ordered some CoverCraft seat covers and a Fumoto oil drain valve
  4. In keeping with the actual theme of this thread. What exactly did you do to your K2?
  5. I don't think this noise is that infamous lol. I got a 7" lift and have developed a squeak coming from my steering rack but its only when I turn left
  6. Loaded up a couple of the toys to take to get washed
  7. Just about any OBD II code reader will work. Just look on Amazon or go to your local auto parts store and you can find em all day.
  8. You should probably invest in a cheap code reader. You could have saved yourself $85 and your truck being gone for a day. P050d is a rough idle. Usually an air leak, maybe plugs or coils. But definitely something that could be diagnosed and remedied at home
  9. Picked my boys up from school and went and hit a mud hole down the street
  10. What’s the max psi on your tire? If you’re running 47 on a tire with a max of 65 then I’d bring that down some. If the max is 80psi then 47 is probably alright. The ass end of trucks skipping around is pretty normal as there isn’t a lot of weight back there
  11. That makes absolutely no sense
  12. I realize they make more models than that but at the time that was the only model offered for her car I see thyve come out with a new model, the Primacy and even offer the Defender now for the MDX. I would maybe consider the Defender. I had a set on my Expedition and they were pretty damn good.
  13. Michelin Latitudes are what we replaced with the Pirellis. The Michelin’s sucked. Don’t get me wrong they make a great tire but those things were unbelievably loud. They have such a high mileage warranty on them and last so long because they’re hard as rocks. We had to air them way down to make the ride comfortable and therefore sacrificed longevity with them. The Scorpions were way better as far as comfort goes and that’s all my wife cares about. Im not sure what tire I’ll go with next but it won’t be the Pirellis again. She only drives a couple of miles a day so I may cheap out and go with an off brand.
  14. Hmmm. Actual physical control means moving and it clearly states in bold red or blue light visible and directly in front of the center of the vehicle rock lights go in the wheel wells or under the vehicle and as I said if you’re not driving with them on I doubt the cops will bother you.
  15. I have Pirelli Scorpion Verdes on my wife’s MDX and at 20k miles they’re toast. That includes 3 rotations. I told Discount tire last week when I went for the 3rd rotation if they didn’t warranty them or throw some money at me for a new set of tires I was gonna be pissed
  16. They’re not illegal if you don’t drive around with them on.
  17. Yeah I’m disappointed honestly. Why they only came with two lights and not 4 who knows. I get the cargo light should illuminate the rest of the bed and with an LED bulb it does ok but come on. I have a toneau cover so 4 lights would have been the tits I think I’m gonna do the same. I got a set of white led rock lights I was gonna use for another purpose but I think I may use those in the bed. They already have 6’ extended wiring on them so a quick tap into the oem harness, a couple self tapping screws and I should have the bed lit up in no time. Sounds like a good project for tomorrow.
  18. Installed the GM bed light kit
  19. Good one I didn't even bother with a torque wrench. For the Moogs the instructions say tighten everything down so the threads of the inner rod are flush with the top nut. Then go 2 more full turns and theyre good. That's what I did. Ive had it with those damn end links.
  20. Just went and put on some Moog Problem Solver end links.
  21. I just went with some plain white ones from Amazon. I was considering a Bluetooth one with the different modes and colors but out of all the ones I could find none of them had a true white. Apparently the color from the other leds bleeds off and you can’t get a true white. Plus the reviews are to mixed for me. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t etc. I know they’re cheap but I didn’t feel like taking a chance. I ain’t no party boy, I don’t need my truck looking like it’s parked outside a rave lol.
  22. Just ordered some rock lights and the GM bed light kit
  23. They suck ass. Never even got them installed. The shock eyelets were to narrow causing me to have to use 3 big spacers on each side to fill the gap in the shock mount when bolted up. That's a total of 24 washers I needed for both sides just to make them fit right. The sleeves that came with the bushings were to small at 1/2". Our mounting bolts are 5/16". So the hardware wouldn't fit through the shock. When I contacted Bilstein they said they didn't have a bushing that would fit the eye of that shock and accommodate a bigger 5/16" sleeve. I asked about the ones used on the 5160 and the shock eye is bigger than the 5165 therefor it can accommodate our bigger hardware. Ultimately the shocks were rendered useless and I returned them to get my money back. I have no doubt the 5160's are probably great but theyre only good for up to 2" of lift. I needed 7" so I was forced to use the custom 5165. I should have suspected something when I couldn't find one single review of someone using a 5165 on a Silverado or any truck for that matter I have a Rough Country lift so I ended up going with RC's new Vertex reservoir shocks and I couldn't be happier.
  24. Just replaced my right front wheel speed sensor so I could get all the lights on my dash to turn off lol! What a PIA that was but its done and everything is good now.
