  1. I have a CTSV and stock with the oem throttle body, the drivability is hardly “muddy”. I think this is in your heads guys. Either way if it feels like it drives better then it’s worth the money I suppose
  2. Sent my traction bars off for powder coating.
  3. How much money did you waste on that? Should have just gotten a tuner.
  4. Details on the bed rack. You doing an overland thing with it or is it for work?
  5. Interesting. All the ones I’ve seen keep the can mounted level with the intake or below it. Mine is mounted on the brake booster.
  6. Is that mounted right with the lines going up like that? Doesn’t look right at all
  7. No need for what?? Since when has telling someone bye become a bad thing? what there is no need for is the cliche the OP is committing by leaving one brand for another then dogging said brand and recommending others ditch said brand. That my friend is what there is no need for. So with that I say Bye. No point in starting a thread in a GM forum just to trash GM trucks and go on about how Rams are better.
  8. The update shouldn’t change anything If you’ve got a working system. All it does is cause the backup braking system to activate sooner than before.
  9. I don’t think that is the case as even Lew says always flash back to stock when going to the dealer in case they change anything then reupload the custom tune later. I’ve never once seen him say if the dealer flashes a new tune then his custom tune won’t work afterwards. I don’t know Lews process but I believe he builds off the canned tune that he has you install, that’s why you send him the “last tune written”. I think he wants the “backup” or stock tune just for comparison sake.
  10. For you guys with custom tunes from actual shops I can see the concern. The guy I quoted said he has a Diablew tune which means he has a hand held tuner. Flash it back to stock, go to dealer and let them flash whatever they want then come back home and reload the custom tune. The tuner is going to save the new tune from the dealer if they changed anything. So what is his concern?
  11. Why would you have a problem reloading you’re custom tune?
  12. Got new tires installed. Fixed my clunky leaf springs and a squeak I had coming from the front. Truck is running good again.
  13. Nothing wrong with Rough Country. The higher you go the better their lifts get
  14. Ordered new wheels and tires. Went with Pro Comp AT sports in 35x12.5x20 and LRG Thrust 119 wheels in 20x12. Getting installed Wednesday. Should look way better than my current setup
  15. My truck is an import from Canada.
  16. Apparently a lot of people do as that’s the version they sell the most of
  17. I’m your huckleberry. I’m in N Dallas and have a standard bed. I didn’t know the standard bed was an option when I bought my truck. The dealer had the exact same trucks parked side by side one a standard one a short box. It was a no brainer. The standard looks better than the short imo.
  18. You bought a 4yr old truck with 150k miles on it!!!!! Holy crap why???
  19. You hear that GM!!! You’ve been challenged.
  20. Apparently you don’t
  21. Mini spool lol!!! You’ll be regretting that mod as soon as you make your first sharp turn.
  22. If u were at a complete stop and someone hit you doing 80 your truck would have damn near disintegrated. If the pic above is the actual truck then I’d suspect they hit you in the 20-30mph range
  23. I have my RC traction bars on order. Hopefully have them on this weekend or next.
  24. It’ll pull that with no problem. Probably not as fast as you want but it’ll pull it
