  1. I had this in my 2016 Suburban for a couple years and worked great. Its model RA003B and should work for any GM 5.3L with AFM/DOD through 2021. Looking to get $125 shipped
  2. Pretty sure u can mount it at any height. It would swing out 90* but it hits the cable that holds the tail gate up so therefore it won’t. I have to open my bed cover to fully open the top. No big deal as I have a Tri fold
  3. If you run 89 octane then use the 89 tune
  4. That’s exactly what I used em for. I filled it with all my tie downs and jumper cables and still got room left. They run about $179 per side.
  5. Installed one of my swing cases. Waiting on the other one to be delivered. Damn I love these things.
  6. Those look horrible
  7. This thread should be titled “how to ruin a perfectly good truck”
  8. Stick with 92 and you guys need to hit up diablewtune.com
  9. Now find the 2 key words in this sentence. “Winter time”. Like I said earlier climate has a lot to do with what oil weight you run. In the frozen tundra of the northern states and Canada, 0w-20 makes all the sense in the world. In TX where we may get a few freezes a year, it doesn’t. You can’t argue with that logic. When you average 90-100* temps every day over multiple months 20 weight simply doesn’t make sense. Greatest post ever. me and you are gonna get along great I can already tell.
  10. This right here. Nothing wrong with 5w30. It’s what I run and will continue to. Grumpy showed you the science showing there is hardly a difference in the weights. 20 weight in these trucks is merely for fuel economy and nothing else. Slow, stick to forced induction and tuning discussions because when it turns to oil talk you’re coming up short pal.
  11. I’ve been running Rotella Gas Truck 5w-30 in mine for about 6k miles now and no issues. It runs better imo and quieter than 0w20. not sure where you live but in TX where I’m at 0w20 is too thin for the climate. It doesn’t get cold enough here to warrant it. Imo.
  12. Just regear it. Cheaper and it’ll feel like you got a 6.2.
  13. I didn’t even know JET was still around.
  14. Then this isn’t for you. Move along.
  15. Great job thinking out of the box and finding a solution to a known problem my only problem is this mod pretty much makes trading in your truck impossible. Unless you plan on keeping your truck or doing a private sale In the future where you’ll know someone plans to leave it tuned, not sure this mod is a good idea.
  16. Bullshit on those numbers
  17. Are you sure you got the 9.76”?
  18. This thread is just wow!!, almost as bad as the one where the guy asked if it was ok to use his spare if he had a lifted truck Dude just use it up. A gallon of washer fluid cost a few bucks. Hit the button for 30 seconds a couple times a day and the reservoir will be empty in no time. You’re not hurting the pump.
  19. Anybody with tuned trucks flashing back to stock before taking your truck in?
  20. They rubbed in the back. The usual spot. A NorCal probably would make them work but I didn’t want to fool with cutting up my truck.
  21. Man I was going to but they mounted one up front and it rubbed like crazy. Like really really bad. They tried to talk me into some 20x10s but that’s what I already have. I wasn’t gonna pay $1500 just to go with a different version of the look I already have. So I just did the tire swap. It’s all good. Tires was what I was really going for and new rims was just gonna be a bonus. I love the tires so far
  22. Installed traction bars and got new tires
  23. You took the words right out of my mouth it’s a pointless mod by itself especially on a NA motor. Forced induction it makes plenty of sense.
