  2. All above true. Finding good help is difficulty to come by. Instead I decided to use Orion Motor Tech's Pressure Bleeder. It worked fine. This was the first vehicle I ever did this too. It wasn't discoloured very much at all, and there was no setiment to speak of. Current mileage ~76k I'd prefer to have another full size van, but I have the impression that the later models are more trouble than they are worth. My previous 2005 Express to which I put nearly 230k of its 250k miles on it and had the 4.8L was mostly a fuel, oil changes, tires, and several windshields to where the money went. Thanks again.
  3. Disregard. I probably type too much unnecessary information. Thanks for the quick reply.
  4. I thought it to my advantage to keep the wheels on the ground and start with the rear on the high side; then turn it around and complete the front end. I can't think of a reason why this would not work, other than it being more troublesome to work underneath it from the confining space. I would think the incline would assist air movement in that direction. Am I fooling myself? By the way, I will be using a manual pump pressure bottle connected to the reservoir.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion and acceptance. I'm using it right now. It's a cleaner setup. A good day!
  6. Thanks. I'm using a small chromebook to view websites. That fact only adds to the misery of the popup ads that have no meaningful use to my brain. I suspect they're for buying another gm vehicle. Fortunately for me the folks here come to the rescue when I have a question. Otherwise I find sifting through past messages to be very time consuming, and almost as abusive as a swarm of mosquitoes. Also, I do use duckduckgo search in many situations; unfortunately their browser is not available to us Chromebook users. As far as my original question about access goes. I just figure I must have to be invited or something since it's a club section.
  7. I have received a few of these messages the past month or two. When I click the "accept" the the same window reopens without access. The popups and other distracting features are enough of a challenge for me to handle. Any ideas why I'm receiving these and why they don't appear to allow access? thanks Ange

  9. Your mileage may vary: I am considering at some point in the future of moving twice a year. For my wee Ubiquity, anything over 4500 lbs and I'll hire someone else to do it.
  10. 08/02/2024 2015 4.3L (67,618 total miles) ~2,500 ~9 months Whispered 49% to me. Utilized (Valvoline 5w30 Yes, my Ubiquity is Full of Sin {$34.94} | Purolator One Filter {$11.18}) ~ 1/4 stick loss of operating range for this interval. Used concrete pavers placed on the nearest flat part of earth as ramps this time, as opposed to the curb (gutter) method. I prefer the gutter as it is less time consuming; but I also prefer keeping the vehicle off the street and from blocking the 10% graded driveway when possible. Also I rotated tires a week prior. Greased and checked brakes.
  11. Hello: Worked fine enough. It's fine for dogs. The picture below shows the added flange (flat stock aluminum) used to meet the lower edge of the cab's flange. That worked fine. The bed cap needed one 1" tubing removed and then cut to form the top half that would match the cab flange. I'll see if I can find that picture. I wasnt going for anything aesthetically pleasing on the inside. I used the plywood (edge can be seen below) along with a hinged door to close off the opening if I should want it quieter in the cab or privacy in the bed (truck bed happens to have a cot to rest on). It works for me, but it will never be the van I wanted.
