  2. The NAV TV unit just like any other integration piece for cars and trucks, just reads the data signal and then create its own output. So if their warning chimes are multiple one second beeps then that’s what you get. I’ve heard that NAV TV’s customer service is pretty good. If you have questions about the unit, or what may have changed since it was installed, I would recommend giving them a call.
  3. I believe the warning message at the beginning of this video will answer your question:
  4. The 2021 HD step do come down. 2:27 on the video:
  5. Personally I’m very curious about peoples’ experience with the Bilstein shocks both the 4600 and 5100. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them, but I’ve never tried them myself. Apparently the 5100 are better if you are loaded with payload and the 4600 are better for SRW and the 5100 are better for dually. Does anyone have experience with either of these, and on which truck?
  6. I used to say the same, until I heard Morel speakers and I'll never go back.
  7. You didn’t specify gas or diesel, so here is the MBRP for the 6.6 Gas: YouTube Link
  8. Well they put up the online build and price today for the 2021 on http://www.GMC.com so have fun!
  9. Yep. No need to add holes to the door when you can mount the tweeters in the dash and get a good sound. The PAC Audio (a.k.a. Best Kits) speaker mount adapters actually come with the adapter mount to put a tweeter in the dash location. https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/installation-accessories/2014-2020-general-motors
  10. B&W released new hitches to work with the Multi-Pro Tailgate at SEMA: https://www.bwtrailerhitches.com/product/multipro-tow-stow
  11. Looks like NAV-TV has come out with a Zen interface that should allow you to replace the Bose amplifier and have line level out or optical Toslink (S/PDIF) output from the stick 8" head unit. I'm personally interested in what PAC will come out with, but this opens up many possibilities for aftermarket audio. https://navtv.com/products/NTV-KIT955/zen-avb-gm.html
  12. The transmission for the HD's was co-developed by GM and Allison (built to Allison specs) but it is built by GM. It says Allison because it meets Allison specs and they passed their testing. Therefore officially, according to GM, it is an 'Allison branded 10-speed transmission'. The 10-speed for the 1500 was a co-development between GM and Ford.
  13. $650 isn't bad for all 4. Worth it to remove the plastic that will dry out and turn grey just like on the Chevy Avalanche.
  14. No. You will have to wait for the aftermarket to make fender flares without the lights.
  15. The GM engineer that I saw interviewed said that it "currently" is not flex fuel. They will most likely make a flex version in the future, but right now with a new design they opted to just make sure it ran as designed on 87 gas first. Give it a few years and there will probably be a conversion kit available in the aftermarket once the production engine is E85 capable.
  16. Apparently you can get OEM paint matched fender flares from GM. Here is the video of them being installed:
  17. Try these inline before your high level inputs to put a false load on the Bose amp. https://www.audiocontrol.com/car-audio/accessories/ac-lgd/
  18. Got this in my email from Truck Covers USA:
  19. I haven’t. I’m pretty tall and most of my height is in my torso. So even adjusting the seat down sometimes, it has been a problem in the past. That’s why I was asking originally.
  20. So after sitting in a GMC 2500HD Sierra Denali on Sunday, I can confirm that the headliner height with the sunroof has more room than the 2019 1500 Sierra Denali counterpart. So now I now I will sit pretty with a sunroof optioned in.
  21. Only one that connects to the Gooseball like the original B&W Companion. There is a whole thread on this on the main HD forum page:
  22. Retrax will be releasing the Pro MX in late Aug/Sept. List Price $1829.00: https://retrax.com/retraxpro-mx/2020/gmc/sierra-3500-hd
  23. 3500HD or 2500HD? Which engine?
  24. I know that the 2019 Silverado & Sierra have changed the way that the Infotainment system communicates to the Bose audio system, making things like the current AmpPRO from PAC Audio and the T-harnesses from Metra and CarAV useless at the moment. Has anyone gotten into their 2500HD or 3500HD to add a subwoofer or replace the factory speakers? If so, what were you able to use? Did you have to use line level output converters from the amp instead of the clean output from the head unit? I'm looking to replace all the factory Bose system with Morel Tempo Ultra speakers, Audio Control amplifiers (1x LC-4.800 & 2 x LC-1.1500) and DSP (DM-810), and put a custom box under the seat with 4 DC Audio M3 8's. I would just rather do this without having to cut or T-tap into factory wiring if it can be helped. I'm sure that others on the forum are interested in this information as well.
