  1. I also like to keep an eye on what's going on here so I can give my brother advice about his 2019 5.3 SLT if he needs it.
  2. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate GM or anything like that. If I'd been able to find a new 2018 Sierra 1500 crew cab with NHT, that's what I'd have in my driveway. But I couldn't so I went with what I thought was the second best option.
  3. I got tired of being the only nice guy around.
  4. They already did on the Sierra for 2020...
  5. My city is about 12 days into phase 2 of reopening and now at the most active cases we've had so far. I haven't seen the numbers of hospital admissions but I have to wonder at what point they consider rolling back the reopening to keep the curve down - or if the government will even let us do that even if we end up in danger of overwhelming the hospitals. Some very alarming rhetoric coming out of the premier's office these days.
  6. Have you brought this to GM's attention or tried going to a different dealership?
  7. I don't think the max trailering package gives you any of the fancy tech but the trailer camera package and advanced trailering package do. However, I would say the max trailering package is more important than either of those.
  8. For #3, what happens if you hit the lock button on the inside of the door as you're getting out then pull on the handle after you get out to make sure it's locked?
  9. Which state are you in? (If it's on your profile, I can't see it on my phone.)
  10. If it was cheaper on Amazon, why didn't you just order from there in the first place?
  11. What exactly would you expect a "real mechanic" to do about a problem with the computer in your dash that they've only seen a picture of on your phone?
  12. If the Chevy build and price website is to be believed, the diesel off road package apparently isn't available in Canada.
  13. https://in.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-steroid-idINKBN23N1VP
  14. I just meant less strict in that I don't think anyone will be escorted off site if they forget their mask. You're right about it being nice not having the general public come into your workplace.
  15. Where I work, we have a fair number of requirements, though we're probably a little less strict than the Air Force. Everyone gets their temperature taken on their way on site. Have to wear a mask when passing people in the hallway. One person per office. One person per truck unless everyone is wearing a mask. Have to wear a mask if working within 6 feet of anyone else.
  16. I'd still rather wear a mask or social distance because I don't trust selfish assholes to stay home when they're sick.
  17. The 5.3 in your Elevation has DFM. Only way to tell it's working is by your fuel economy.
  18. So does the manager just drive it around with one of those temporary dealership plates hanging from the tailgate?
  19. A truck with 5k miles may be barely broken in and should have a ton of life left in it but I don't see how you can call it new or charge full price for it.
  20. Sorry for feeding the troll.
  21. I'm on that forum and, as I mentioned above, pretty much the only troubleshooting threads boil down to: 1. I swapped in LEDs and messed up my electrical system when I blew a fuse 2. I put in a cheap lift and messed up my suspension 3. I have a question about the normal operation of the truck that's been answered 147 times previously
  22. And you didn't go for a Duramax?
  23. But Jack Carter Chevrolet can sell a truck that's had $7000 in body panels replaced along the entire right side as new after saying they'd never sell a vehicle that was damaged and repaired as new...
