  1. got the charger from your link, installed it today but will only charge if I take the otter box off and remove the rubber mat from the lid? however it was an easy install even though it won't work on my phone what phone/otter box do you have? I have the galaxy S9 and the otter box defender
  2. Sorry that your original question seems to have gotten lost along the way, but that is what generally happens with most. As far as the question, I think that it hasn't been out long enough for anyone to form an opinion. I've been watching at a couple of dealerships, one just average sized and one quite large and neither have been able to get one with the new 3.0 As far as owning and driving its like most everything else, ask 100 people and you'll get 100 different answers. Several of my friends have the HD's with diesels and they all like the power, but most don't like how much more they cost to maintain and drive everyday. Now having said that, they all said they didn't regret buying one and in fact most said they aren't likely to go back to gas. I guess it all boils down to what you want, when you find one at the dealer, go drive it and form your own opinion, after all, your the one that is going to pay for it
  3. gator roll up, gate won't open without pulling on it. I tried sliding the cover forward and back but it didn't make any difference. Its not a big deal, but it is a little annoying
  4. just ordered one of those chargers, I was wanting to do this on my old truck but was unsure that the charger would be strong enough to go thru the plastic and otter box, but if its working for you I'm gonna give it a try
  5. sunroof, no pop, 10,000 miles...
  6. exactly! what do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? a good start! ?
  7. wow, guess I am in the minority on this one, I always thought that the adjustable pedals were a big waste of money, and as far as tilt/telescopic wheel I set it one time and never move it again. I am nearly a foot taller than my wife and all she does to drive is move the seat a little and she can drive just fine. I guess I just didn't know this was even an issue...
  8. I guess redwngr will have to research prices in his area and decide for himself, I'm not here to talk him or anybody else into or out of anything, just tossing out things to think about, oh, and for the record, I was comparing the duramax to the 5.3 because I don't think there is a comparison to the 6.2. It's just my 2 cents, you don't have to agree...
  9. thats great, diesel here is always at least a dollar a gallon more, and unless I have read bad information, (can't believe I'd get that on the internet?) the diesel holds 2 quarts more than the gas. Not saying its a huge difference, but a couple of bucks here and there adds up quick
  10. but higher cost of fuel, cost of DEF, higher cost for an oil change, even if you do it yourself...
  11. well great, now I have to go out to the truck and check this out, I thought it was a second camera for the close up view of the hitch...
  12. I had to scroll all the way to the bottom where the screen was blank except for the word "edit", click that which brings up the options for what you want to see, then scroll to "off road" and check the box
  13. once the aftermarket figures it out, the power potential could be amazing, but don't forget about all the added cost involved with owning a diesel...
  14. mine sits on top of the rail rather than inside, I'll post pics as after as the sun comes up
  15. So far its great, I sprayed it with a high pressure washer from about 2 feet away and it didn't leak. It's simple to install by yourself, you just have to be careful not to over tighten those aluminum clamps. I will try to remember to get some pictures tomorrow
  16. installed gator roll up bed cover, center console organizer, and chrome/plastic gmc logo valve stem covers
  17. I think I would take it back to your dealer, I checked mine and they are not like you describe at all. Mine are close to perfectly inline with each other
  18. seems like most all of the topics on here turn into a "bitch" session at some point
  19. gonna have to try removing them, I noticed the rattle on two others that I test drove before buying this one, now its doing it
  20. the range on my 19 sierra seems ok, but nothing like using the myGMC app, being able to start it from inside a restaurant, and having it tell you that it started was really nice
  21. I went and measured again, swung the tape back and forth to find the tightest spot. The door opening is 7' exactly, but the door stops at 6' 9" when fully open. There is a small incline when going into my garage which I suppose could make a difference, but back to the point, when I stopped under the door and measured I have a 2" clearance between the shark fin and the door and the radio antenna hits about 3" worth. I'm pretty confident that with a lift and big tires it won't fit. When I test drove the AT4, I drove it home, it would not fit
