  1. So just read this post and same thing happened to me yesterday in my 2020 Silverado 3500 diesel while towing the boat and coming back from a trip to the keys. STRANGEST THING HAPPENS NEXT!! My brother in law who has identical truck as mine following right behind me has the exact same thing happen to his truck at the exact same time as mine. We both pulled over thinking GM just sent a signal to disable our trucks. After a couple of starts on and off it cleared and never did it again. Parking brake error, check engine light, turned off cruise and tow mode, reduced power and traction control light came on. How could this happen to two trucks at the same time unless it was sent over the air???
  2. I almost like the line being offset so that the thickness of the line doesn’t cover up target. I just know that the line needs to be just offset slightly from the target and I am good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Got my new front and rear pads installed and now all is quiet again. They tried to clean them twice but didn’t last. Replace is only fix. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I got mine from Chevy. I think it was about the same price. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. It was easy. You just have to pop off the clip from behind that holds it and order the camera extension cables if you plan on using them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. You can buy a 7 pin round to 5 pin flat adapter cheap. Also I swapped the bumper plug with the bed plug as I have a 5th wheel and the rear add on camera. I think it was Deltek that sells extensions for the camera cables. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Mine is at the bottom left side of the bed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Happened to me the other day. I did the over the air update and it seems to have fixed itself. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. The standard bed(6’-10”) is the shortest bed for a 3/4-1 ton. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. The only real difference is the 3500 has an extra leaf spring. I believe the brakes are bigger too. Get the 3500. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. My 3500 is a standard bed and did not need to remove spare tire to get to it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Unfortunately I had to replace mine due to damage. I watched them take my old one off. It takes two people. Only took about 5 min. One guy crawled under to disconnect wiring harness and pop some clips. Then up top take out a security bolt on passenger side hinge. Finally with two people lift the passenger side up and out a little. The other guy had a screw driver as a pry bar to get the driver side popped out. That was it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Ok same subject...different question.. If cost is not an issue I was wondering how the truck would handle if I put a TPMS on the spare tire. I would have 5 tires which is an odd number. The truck wants you to put in the number of axles on trailer so if I say 3 axles it would show one side with pressure and the other with 0. Do you think it would give a constant alarm of no signal every time I start up? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I was more worried about corrosion as the factory TPMS have a metal body and stem. I don’t usually back my truck tires all the way under salt water but the trailer would be. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Has anyone purchased the TPMS valve stems to add to your boat trailer? I have them on my 5th wheel and they work good and are tied into the truck system. I am thinking that since they are sealed inside the tire that water wouldn’t be an issue. Anyone else have experience? Also any idea what size diameter valve stems they are? Thanks. 16. Thanks for the lead but I asked them and they promptly responded that they don’t make a harness for the led’s because the electronics that control the drl is built into the headlight assembly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Has anyone found a wire harness or made their own to be able to keep the driving marker lights on at the same time as the turn signal? My wife’s Ford Expedition it stays on with turn signal. Mine is a 3500 high country. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Sorry I gave you the wrong company name. It’s Pasternack. Here is the thread on part number and how to do it. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/235530-help-w-relocating-camera-port-from-bumper-to-bed-for-5th-wheel/?do=findComment&comment=2388376 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Since I have a 5th wheel trailer and added the trailer camera I switched the bumper plug with the bed plug so I would have the camera connection in the bed. It requires a 3’ wire extension from Deltek. Much cleaner this way with the cables. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Make sure it’s not the rear seat belt touching the plastic sides. Also I had the rear headrest rattle and put a piece of tape on the post to stop it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. I think the wheel base was extended on the newer HD trucks. You get used to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. And if you do have the button at end of stalk it only works if the fog lights are off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. They put a heavier weight oil in it. Doesn’t seem like much of a fix but we will see. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. We have one of our work trucks in the shop with same issue. It is using oil. Will let you know what they say when I get it back. It’s a 2020 3500 gasser. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. Do you have the groove lined up on the plug so that you can push it in all the way and the cover piece should latch onto the plug? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
