  1. Ivtake a wild guess here. Check all ur grounds first. Common issue with bad ground. Check easy stuff 1st
  2. Have you check the simple stuff like fuses? If fuse is good, pull it out to do a reset. Google your model for fuse charts & locations. That's where I'd start then go to the more complex stuff
  3. Here's another possible option if you think it's worth a try. I recommend AT-205 leak fix. It swells the seal material to reduce leaks. I've used it in the past with good results. Just a cheap option. Several good videos on YouTube. Good luck
  4. How did u check the battery?
  5. I would suggest 2 things. 1. Test your battery. At 5 years for a lead acid battery it's at the end of it's life. With all the electronics on modern cars, it's common for electrical issues when voltage drops, especially at startup when so many amps are pulled. 2. Inspect & clean all grounds. A major issue with these GM trucks. Several good videos on YouTube on this. I actually added 2 additional engine grounds on my '17 based on this video. good luck
  6. No. I bought this in 2020 when it came off a GM lease, as a Certified Truck. it had almost every factory option on it including the MAX Towing, so I got whatever it had. And I have resealed both Shark Fin & rear high mount light. Several videos on this on YouTube.
  7. Little more info needed if ur asking for help. 2 common leak issues are Shark Fin or rear high level stop/cargo light . Where is your stain location?
  8. On the power distribution block on top of the battery you should see the AMPs of that fuse. For a quick fix you can buy a fuse bar at auto supply shop to mount across it to make that ok temporary. Not sure why it blew but could of accidentally happened when you installed the battery. I would do this 1st to see if it corrects anything. See pic
  9. Try searching for this on YouTube. I just checked & there are several videos on the heated seats for GM.
  10. I just watched a YouTube video on a similar situation. May not be your issue but sure is on the list that you haven't checked https://youtu.be/SPneWXbqgAg?si=daLhRCTkST-PZN93
  11. Common issue as these trucks age, especially if parked outside in the sun. UV rays kills the rubber edging. Several videos on YouTube showing R&R.
  12. I think I've helped as much as I can. Next is up to you. Semper Fi Honor Courage Commitment SDG Improvise Adapt Overcome
  13. Go to the advance auto or autozone & they'll lone you what you need. Or just take to a service station with a mechanic & he'll change for you.
  14. I'm an old 77 year old Jarhead and I could do it on my Silverado. Doesn't take much to do. Just relieve the system coolant pressure before removing the Temp sensor but keep keep it sealed & coolant won't go everywhere like in the video.
  15. Check this video out. https://youtu.be/aJeksrxcCDI?si=4_zetNBZqCvCIIa6
  16. With what you've said, it appears your heating/cooling system is working. Next I'd look at your temp sensor.
  17. Some codes are set without the CEL being set.
  18. How many miles on ur truck? Has the thermostat ever been changed? 1st I'd do is see if any of the radiator hoses were warm/hot. Do you have good heat from heater? Any codes? Ur issue could be a number of things. No silver bullet without some diagnostics to start or you just start firing the parts cannon.
  19. IMO, that's just some weeping. The rubber line under that factory crimp gets hard & ATF will get past just about any seal. I've seen a video hack where they cut the factory crimp off & install an aftermarket one instead of replacing the whole line. Personally, I'd spray it with some s SimpleGreen & hose it off every 6 months....or you can pay to have it replaced. I spray & hose off under the hood about every 6 months to keep it looking new.
  20. The black plastic trim on my '17 Silverado LTZ is not so black anymore. What do you recommend to get the black back? Lots of stuff out there but they usually don't last very long. I'm talking about they windshield cowl trim, back bumper trim, factory splash guards etc. Let me know what you use & like.
  21. I would check the large fuse links on the battery power distribution fuse block that's on top of the battery next. See if any nuts are loose on the connector wire or any fuse blown.
  22. Could be several things. But my 1st thought is a bad starter. Try tapping it lightly to see if that makes any difference.
  23. And how many miles on your truck? Biggest issue with what you describe is Bad Grounds. Remove them, clean them & reattach. Even add some. Some good info here. Start with the simple stuff before shooting the parts cannon.
  24. On my 2017 Silverado double door back door passenger side lower window trim, the rubber seal is coming off from the chrome trim. Is this a common issue? Can I replace just the rubber seal part or does the whole trim price have to be replaced? Has anyone seen this on their truck? I guess I could just tear or pull the seal part that is hanging.
  25. How many miles on your truck? Have had any rodent problems in the past? 1st thing I would do is check for damaged wires and grounds. Just my thoughts.
