  1. I use Akebono brake pads. They work well.
  2. I have always used Akebono brake pads ( previous Yukon). They work well.
  3. (2002 Silverado Crewcab, 5.3) All, I've been changing oil on vehicles for many years now and was able to snap the oil drain plug yesterday. I was able to remove the "stem" of the bolt and fortunately had a 2nd one ready to go. So, free advice, always have one ready to go. Cheers
  4. 2020 Silverado 5.3 crew cab. I purchased the Eibach front/rear shocks with the Eibach coils. Rides well, not as "mushy' as stock shocks. Enjoy
  5. Weather tech. It fits in the cup holder
  6. I added a subwoofer and amp under my rear crew cab seats. I know of some putting amps behind the rear seat (along the rear cab wall), but that is much more involved in terms of installation
  7. Here is what I use for my 5.3 engine: 0W-20 Amzoil (8quarts) K&N filter oil filter (HP-2011) Oil drain plug gasket (replace every 3rd change), Amazon enjoy
  8. Hello, I installed the Baja Design Amber SAE fog as well as Amber ditch lights. I installed a Rough Country multiple light controller (universal). They work well.
  9. Have a '20 Silverado LT (crewcab RWD). Added a subwoofer w amp. Subwoofer & amp located under rear bench seat. I will add speakers in the doors when I feel the need. I use my iphone Siriux XM for that music source. Note: I had to customize my weather tech to allow the subwoofer, amp, and a power inverter to fit well. Enjoy.
  10. I purchased the Baja Design Amber SAE fogs for my '20 Silverado Crewcab. I also added a set of S2's (amber) and one S1 (amber) to my back rack (facing the rear). I also added one S1 (white) to the bottom of my rear bumper. I used the Rough Country lighting kit and had it mounted below the center consule (bench). I hope this helps. Cheers...
  11. Hello. I run 275/65R20 (stock rims). I leveled my truck. I do not have issues w/ rubbing on my front wheels. Cheers.
  12. How did you do it. Aside from removing the grill, was it easy or hard? Thank you.
  13. Hello. I purchased a frontrunner (two) jerry can holder (SKU: JCHO014) My jerry cans were purchased from jerrycan.com (Gelg). I simply bolted the tray onto the bed of my truck. You will have issues with the GMC/Chevy fuel cap/entry as there is an inner metal flap which is hard to keep open. The jerrycan.com spout is rubber/plastic (Gelg), which does not do well. I modified a VALPRO Long-Nose Flexible NATO Jerry Can Spout/Nozzle, Fits Wavian or VALPRO Euro Military Spec Cans (Olive Drab) to fit the Gelg jerry can by modifying the gasket. Cheers.
  14. Why would you do that? The first thing I did when I purchased my '20 LT was to install the software to remove it. I had it on my '08 Yukon and never like it back then.
  15. Hello.I installed the JLT oil catch can on my '20 5.3v8. It works as advertised. I empty the container every time I change my oil (every 3500K miles). Cheers...
  16. I replaced stock shock with Eibach, front/rear. Added Eibach front coils to level it. Good ride. Replaced stock General tires with Falken Wildpeak AT3/W 256/R20 on stock 20X9 rims.
  17. Hello. '20 Silverado LT crewcab, RWD. Installed Eibach shocks front/rear. Added Eibach coils on the front end as well. Leveled the truck. Not interested in raising truck so leveling was fine with me. Added Falken Wildpeak AT/3W 20X9 tires. Using stock rims. Rides well, no noise. Regards.
  18. Currently have 25k+ miles in '20 Silverado 5.3 RWD. Wanted to drain oil, check, install new oil. However, there is no drain plug on the bottom of the axle. Aside from removing cover, replacing w/ new gasket, is there a pump one can easily purchase to remove oil from fill plug (on cover). (Amazon, anyone?). Trying to avoid $200 charge from my mechanic shop. Thank you in advance.
  19. 275/65/r20 Falken Wildpeaks. It will give you an extra inch and the Wildpeaks are quieter than than Ko2’s
  20. I purchased the same sized tires, only Falken Wildpeaks. It did add 1" but no difference in noise.
  21. Hello. I had my mechanic install the shocks and coils. I only leveled my truck. I do know my mechanic set the clip all the way to top in terms of setting minimum/maximum height. I purchased 275/65/R20's Falken Wilpeak, which drive fine, no real noise. and did get 1" from that alone. I hope this helps.
  22. You might have to trim the mud guards. I ran 275/65/20’s on mine w/ a level kit.
  23. I change my oil at 3500 +/-. So, have no need for it. However, I have used the BG44K fuel system on my '08 Yukon (5.3) through 178K + miles on it before I sold it to my mechanic. I have used the BG44K twice now in my'20 Silverado LT crewcab (5.3). Cheers.
  24. Yes, the tire size should work. I leveled my truck w/ Eibach shocks, front/rear, front coil. I installed 275/65/R20 Falkans Wildtrack on 20 X 9 rims. Enjoy,
  25. '20 Chevy Silverado crewcab RWD, 5.3. I leveled my truck with Eibach shocks (F/R), as well as Eibach coils, which leveled the truck. Replaced stock street tires with 275/65/R20, which gave it another inch. Falken Wildpeack A/T3W. Rides well, no increase in noise.
