Last night I came across an article that discussed how somebody at John's Hopkins said we'll never achieve herd immunity. Mentioning this to my wife, she said, hopefully more people will realize this and we can be done with the face mask garbage. She's a healthcare professional. She suspects one of the reasons there's a low acceptance to the vaccine is due to mask mandates, and people thinking if enough people get the vaccine the virus will go away, but they shouldn't get the vaccine themselves because they don't need it when masks work so wonderfully. She's already received the Pfizer vaccine. I won't be getting it. If I die, I die. I'll finally have peace and quiet. Btw, an interesting theological thought: Buddhism believes in reincarnation. If you go through life kicking dogs you'll return as a dog, and so on. Does that mean everybody who works to kill viruses will return as a virus in their next life? If there's a difference with the spoiler then there's likely a difference with the stamped steel that it bolts to. If that's the case, then a possible improvement may not work for us. While we're at it, let's get giddy about the rear fenders and tailgate being covered, too. If there's a change there it'll only be the tail lights, but maybe it'll improve the body line alignment from the cab to the bed. See where this is going? GM has a long standing history of covering this up that aren't changed. Even the rear bumper is covered on the truck. Reality is, there's a mild refresh of the front bumper, grill, and headlights, and possibly the taillights, but that's about it. The rear spoiler on the truck just looks unpainted to me. None of the visible rear bumper has exhaust cutouts, so might be entry to mid level trim trucks, which might explain the absence of sliding rear windows on the test mules in that video. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

It's not located where you think it is. There's a knob without a pigtail attached. That's the actual bulb socket. It's a little higher up. Look at the light from the front to approximate where the bulb is, and locate the knob on the back in that general area. There's some sort of electrical wizardry going on there. Here's the part that threw me off. I was going after the part way down at the bottom that has the pigtail. Past experience indicates this is where the bulb is located. But, looking at the light it didn't seem to line up with where the bulb actually was. On a leap of faith I went for the knob located approximately where the bulb is in the light. Add me to the list of people this is happening to. Occurred twice last week when I first started my truck. I'm in San Diego, and I'm stuck at home every day until at least noon because the kids are being forced to do online school by their ******* teachers. Temp outside was about 60°f+ on both days. About 2 weeks ago I posted in this thread about how I scratched my truck up on both sides while offroading because of overgrown bushes. Today I started the process of fixing the damage. I began with the right bed side panel because it's the worst, ie most scratches and most visible scratches. I spent all afternoon sanding the panel to remove the scratches with 3000 grit sandpaper, followed by buffing and polishing the panel to get its shine restored. I'm pleased to report it was a complete success. I need to get the other side done, followed by all doors and both front fenders. Just joined the LED Swap Club. Reverse, license plate, and front turn signals. All from LasFit, ordered via Amazon. Total came to $72 with California taxes. Only took a few minutes to swap them all out. Cameras don't do it justice. The difference between LED and halogen is HUGE! Since there's a bunch of pics of the reverse lights already floating around the forum I decided to show the difference of the front turn signals. Drivers side is LED. Passenger side is halogen. When I had them flashing it was very clear that the halogen bulbs were not only dimmer, but slower at achieving full illumination too. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
