Actuality, it's easier than that. Take the stock tire size of 275/65-18. The first part is in millimeters. The 2nd part is a percentage of the first part. The third part is in inches. To figure out the size of the tire take the width and multiply with the 2nd part. For example, 275 × 0.65 = 178.75 (I love it when the answer is a simple number. The 2nd step is to multiply the answer in the first step by 2. This is due to the tire having a sidewall on both sides of the wheel in the diameter. Therefore, we have 178.75 × 2 = 357.5. The 3rd step requires converting millimeters to inches. This is necessary for 2 reasons. 1) The wheel itself is in inches, and 2) we talk about a tire size in inches. The conversion is easy. Just divide by 25.4 (there are 25.4 millimeters per inch). We get 357.5 ÷ 25.4 = 14.0748031496. The part is easy. Just add the diameter of the wheel. In this case it's 18 inches. Therefore, 14.0748031496 + 18 = 32.0748031496. We'll just simplify this answer to 32.1 inches. If you'd like to verify my math, just look at the tire calculator image in post #647. As you can see in the attached pic, Goodyear rates the Duratracs for 50,000 miles. The lower the tread the noisier they get. If you want to look at your options, I recommend going to www.tirerack.com and look at tires based on your truck. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

The only answer I can give on that is speculation rooted in fact. The ECU hasn't been cracked by any tuners. It's not that aFe didn't provide a tune, but that they can't. As far as I'm aware, the only way to get an aftermarket tune is via HPTuners and swapping ECUs. GM locked the ECUs down, and the code hasn't been broken yet. I don't know the cost for what HPTuners is doing, but heard it's north of $1,000. Would you buy a CAI that's $1,300+ with the minimal gains you get? Most wouldn't. Because the EPA won't be able to go after GM for modifying the vehicle with aftermarket parts. /sarcasm It's been debated that it may or may not have anything to do with fuel trims or the relocation of MAF. Either way, I don't care. Going back to the dealer was no additional charge since the cost already included the reflash. Dealer can't charge you for getting that done. I have the GM CAI and like it. San Diego Unified School District is an odd ball. They provided 100% of the students with chromebooks, 100% of school supplies are provided. School lunches are still served, but the parents need to drive through the parking lot to get them, daily. School lunch is free. They also passed a rule that states late work will not lose points when it comes to grading. They relied on data that showed minorities were at greatest impact, so that was done to ensure the children had equal opportunity to be graded for work completed. By taking the kids out of the classroom equal opportunity to learn is not realistic. Regarding the teachers union, they have absolutely held the kids hostage. I've called my 1st grader's teacher out numerous times. She's dodging the issue because she is part of the problem. Every time I've been able to get a response she has danced around the subject like a politician. My 5th grader's teacher is at the opposite end of that. She goes out of her way to help her students, including bringing the supplies to them and making sure everybody is okay. She wants to be in the classroom, and wants to see the students. As for the quality of education, it sucks. I wish I was back in Utah. They may spend the least tax dollars per student (50th out of 51), but they get the best value for the dollar (3rd out of 51). The teachers are unionized, but the parents hold them accountable. I remember teachers striking while I was in school, but they took turns and rotated with substitute teachers so the children didn't have their education interrupted. Rumor has it, the federal government told the school districts that if the kids weren't back in school by April 15th that school district would lose their federal funding for next year. All the sudden San Diego Unified's teachers want to come back to the classroom. Can't blame the school district because they've been trying to reopen since December. Everything has been setup for a "safe" return. It was the teachers who opposed it. As for politicalization of the school system, that is apparent. I'm a staunch 2A supporter (not sorry if you disagree, and don't really care). I've witnessed the left pushing a gun control agenda that data back to the days of slavery. I've seen how they've vilified the NRA, and then I receive mass emails from the school district about locking up guns with links to websites from the NRA's opposition, EveryTown for Gun Safety. The NRA has been working on keeping guns out of kids hands since the 70s with Eddie The Eagle, and teaching gun owners to lock up their guns in every course they provide (I know this because I'm certified to teach almost all NRA courses, only excepting is reloading). From where I stand, if a civil rights group has been telling people to lock up their guns for decades is not allowed to be used in communications sent by the school district, then the opposition (whom opposes civil rights) also shouldn't be utilized. No leaking window so far. I'm so picky about my truck that I pay close attending to everything. I frequently look for a leak. I have a 2020 Trail Boss built in June 2020. I use the rear window as much as possible. I love opening the rear window and sunroof to let air flow through the cabin while driving, but have to deal with the affects of the for windows down. Imo, if you like it you should get it. Be attentive, and know there are lots of people who've had a leaky window, got it fixed, and haven't had further issues. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Blue is a great color! I highly recommend it. Speaking of blue, my saga of getting the scratches out of my blue truck continues. I'm now halfway done. Did the left front door today. Driver's side is almost, then it's on to the passenger side. For those who have questions, the scratches are a result of offroading and having bushes pinstripe both sides of my truck. I have a hard time looking at past politics and not seeing a repetition of those agendas today. When I look at the facts from credible sources like The Library of Congress, I see no change in 1 party for over 200 years. When I watch the movie Jonestown I see why one race would be upset at history, but don't understand why they are upset at the political party that brought the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, along with federal civil rights laws including affirmative action. But, let's get real and recognize its not just race, but gender, too. The same political party works to oppress people based on gender. The worst part is, is leached into non-political entities such as Fortnite. People can't just play a video game. They have to get online and berate young children for sounding white. Unless raised racist, a 10 year old doesn't understand the race issues. That same 10 year old is a military child, and told because their parents serve in America and wear the American flag on their right shoulder that they are racist. I know this, because I play Fortnite with my son. This happened to my son while I was on with him. If I hadn't been there he wouldn't have had anybody sticking up for him. My son is an introvert and didn't start the incident. The person who started everything was obviously older. That person has since been blocked and will not be able to contact my son with the profile they used. Now, if we really want to have a deep conversation about race, let's talk about reparations for white families, too, that lost everything during the Civil War when the men went to fight for the Union. You don't hear any of them complaining, do you? Bottom line is, there's a lot of shouting from 1 side, and they don't wait for all the facts to come out. Just look at what happened in Minneapolis. A video shows something bad, and police are blamed for being racist. Yet, when the autopsy is released we find out the guy died from a drug overdose. GM, and most of not all other manufacturers utilize SAE testing to determine the hotelier and torque ratings of its engines. As others have said, it's at the flywheel and not the rear axle. As another person said, GM has been known to understate the numbers. That could be because they went with the lowest numbers achieved at time of testing. I use to have a supercharged Cobalt SS (engine code LSJ). GM said that engine produced 205hp/200tq. I dynoed the car and it was a little more than that. I actuality got it into the 130 MPH Club on the Bonneville Salt Flats in showroom stock condition with an average speed of 131mph by running 4th gear all the way to ten limiter (which was 134mph at 6,500 rpm). I prefer the center console because I use the armrest while driving. Anybody in the center will get in the way, and makes me uncomfortable while driving. A small armrest would be sufficient, but only if some cutie in a white tank top and jeans or a short sun dress is next to me. My neighbor's Trail Boss is in the shop, so I offered to make the 2 hour drive up to LA and pickup an ATV he bought. He has a loaner Chevy Colorado, but there was doubt it would be able the ATV. I have the short box and was still able to close the tailgate. 1 more inch and I would've had to keep the tailgate down and strap the ATV down in the bed. This is old info, and has been known for a few years. Iirc, COVID prevented this transition from happening to Silverados in 2021 model year. There are supposedly a bunch of improvements with the new system, too. One of those is improved adaptive cruise control. Awhile back GM discussed how the current system has a lag in it. If you are behind a slow car and your vehicle shows down to maintain distance, then you change lane to get around that slow car there's a lag in accelerating back up to the preset speed. The new electrical architecture is suppose to have a fix for that. As for me, my 2020 Silverado may be the last GM truck I ever buy. The button gear selector on the dash for the 2022+ trucks bothers me that much. I would've settled for a center console shifter like the F150 has. I want to drive my truck, not have it drive me.
