The only people that know what Tidewater Virginia is are people who either live there, or have lived there. Just tell everybody what city you're in, such as Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News. If somebody has info about your particular city they'll be more helpful versus telling you about locations on the peninsula when you live on the Southside (or vice versa). Second, I don't even know what B20 is. Never heard of it before. I thought it was an airplane, but you make it sound like it's a fuel. Therefore, I can't help you any further. Gasoline produces more power than E85. In order for an engine to make peak energy on ethanol it needs to be built for it. None of GM's engines are. GM's engines are only built to accommodate ethanol. Last phone call I got about an extended warranty I asked if they could cover the cost to replace trunk carpeting. They guy said yes, and then asked why. I told him about a fictitious person I killed and places in the trunk. They said they don't cover that, and I should be arrested. I was just up in this area. I'm surprised by the growth of Salt Lake and Utah counties. To give you an idea, go back and watch 1987 Footloose with Kevin Bacon. The mill he worked at was in this town where the road rage happened. Everything has built up and it is 1 big nonstop city for 2 hours on I-15 from Ogden to Santaquin. They rebuilt I-15 in Salt Lake County 20 years ago right before the Olympics. It was suppose to handle projected growth for 50 years. It's been 20, and it is inadequate. Californians migrated to Utah en masse, and it's now too crowded. Horrible commute around the point of the mountain. After today, I think I'll replace my wife's Traverse with a Spark, and my truck with a diesel Suburban. I love my truck, and she loves her SUV, but she doesn't travel well when she has to drive. I was on vacation all last week. I haven't dug any further into this than what I posted above. Just got home about 2 hours ago. Cars are unpacked, and heading to bed soon. I'll update one I get a chance. Will definitely be playing catchup all day this week. The bushing on there now does appear to be the black horse shoe that was used on previous generations. I do believe this should be covered under warranty. It's not a big hassle at the moment, so I'll wait for my next oil change. The good news is that'll be soon. I'm at about 10% after today. Saturday, drove from Salt Lake City to Mesquite, NV. Today, drove from Mesquite to San Diego. Today was a colossal s**t biscuit. Californians don't know how to drive. Everybody goes slow in the left lane, and pass on the right. Lots of wrecks that added several hours to the trip, and 1 more tank of gas. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I don't see anything abnormal here. I worked in the rental car industry for a few years, many years ago. Fuel gauge on the majority of vehicles don't move until its been driven over 100 miles. After that it's playing catchup until it reads empty. The less fuel the more accurate. I don't have a scientific explanation, but suspect it's due to the gas is sloshing around while the car is moving. The more fuel the bigger the wave on the surface, inside of the gas tank. This would cause the float to sit higher. As for what the app is telling you, I suspect that's more accurate because it's based on what calculations determining how much fuel was actually used. Some will say it's inaccurate, and there's a possibility it's not perfect, but it may still be more accurate than a float on top of sloshing fuel. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

My wife has a 17 Traverse. I have a 20 Trail Boss. Both are dark blue. We don't plan on getting cars in the same color. It just happens, like when we unintentional wear the same color shirts and pants/shorts. She more partial to dark red, but didn't like it on the 17 Traverse. I prefer dark grey, but GM's greys weren't dark enough on the trucks for me to get. That's how we both ended up with blue. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Where shall I start? Never by the first year of a new generation vehicle. They typically have the most problems. Everything you mentioned, except the brakes, should be covered under warranty. That's what they're for -- to protect you. It is normal for brakes to squeak. GM is correct here. It is metal on metal contact. AC Delco is by no means a high quality product. If you want to eliminate the squeaks you need to go get something better, such as Wagner Thermoquiet brake pads. Wagner designs those brakes with chamfers to eliminate squeaking, and they're far cheaper than Wilwood, Baer, etc. There are other brands that do the same thing. I'm just using Wagner as an example. Before I am accused of being a GM nutswinger, understand I'm not defending GM. My comments are applicable to all makes and models in the US. I also use to be ASE certified in auto parts. I let that certification expire many years ago since I'm not in the auto parts industry anymore. With that said, no matter crappy a product somebody ends up producing, I'll never believe the people that made it were out to make a substandard product. I'm scratching my head on this supposed electrical problem. I call BS. If GM says it's okay to wrap the end of the wire for the brake light on the CHMSL with electrical tape when you pull it and install the high mount brake light wire when you install the sport bar, then it's also okay to wrap the wires that go to the power sliding rear window. If anything, a leaky rear window is more prone to causing electrical issues with the power sliding components. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
